Nice chapter! Think the only gripe I had was that if new freeka is surrounded by mostly human countries then there'd probably be a lot higher than 5 percent humans. Could be interesting, so many humans enables a small subplot of rebellious rasalah refugees that came for safety but are still xenephobic and causing problems. It would be a footnote unless it ties into something else like the councils discontent, though that's currently blocked by how much treetree does against the demons. Interested to see how you handle the heroes and no Mika, if he can still communicate with Mila he could relay messages between.

I doubt TreeTree would allow such an tower in his little valley. Then again, it is already an edgy thing wether he'll allow them inside at all, now that his "good consciousness" has gone on vacation into the north. xD

IMO TreeTree would let it be set so that tradr flows and he can get upgrade materials. Plus if it sticks around after the demon king dies then he could convert it and possibly get a weak version of it as a skill.

With regards to the Refugees, do you think TreeTree ever going to expand outwards and create other towns/Conclaves link by those Giant trees? I ask because that valley has to be hitting the limit of the number of people it can support

I can see a few Pros and Cons for Supporting Roma for the throne. Pro TreeTree gets access to the resources to one of the major powers on that continent. Less refugees and the potential to push some of them back into Salah. Not having a Civil War on your Border. Con Potentially a Lot more Refugees when compare to when the Demons are around. No longer politically neutral. Having to aid Salah in times of crisis. Finally the Councilof New Freeka, would have to surrender a bit of power to Salah.

I think the upper limit is very high, with TreeTree supports, they already have timber trees and probably food trees. Didn't he had some mushroom foodstuff that grow underground too for the shelters? could be use for everydays. Though I guess Aeon don't care all that much about getting the biggest city around xD. If he could get more from them, maybe a big enough city would be like a "people-leyline" that gives him energy? He already benefit from the rites though
