Didn't care for this chapter The way the Temple was in the wrong and Lausanne had the power, yet she ends up serving them makes no sense. It feels forced and makes Lausanne look either extremely weak willed or stupid.

I agree she felt a bit weak willed but I think its more that if she fought the church then she'd be fighting the entire country and she's already adventuring. If that was communicated more it would feel better. With flying demons Aeon will have to expand enough to get that eagle titan! Good play though definitly have to throw Aeon something to make him grow.

It's not a matter of right or wrong, but power. As strong as Lausanne is, she can't fight a continent. She needs to sleep and she only has so much energy. Plus she would need to defend her husband as well. And it'd be difficult to flee back to Aeon as well since that continent is blockaded. By all rights, she should be dead. She's part of an enemy faction of the churches on a continent where Aeon has no power or influence. That the church of Aiva is shielding her from the other two is gift enough. Trading increased freedom for the occasional assistance to the church seems fair enough to me since they are dealing with maintaining her false identity and deflecting inquiries into her Aeonic-like abilities. I imagine more than few innocent druids and rangers have met misfortune at the churches crusade.

She doesn't have to fight the church, there is a large gap between all out war and serving them.

See now it makes me think about how much of an impact you as the author want on Aeon. As a rift can't open near Aeon w/o being noticed and then the flying secret is out. Seeing one open though could open a new research/plot direction too. But flying bypasses Aoen's great strength of area control so exposing the secret late could be a crisis point and cause termoil for his new empire. That could bring out latent issues or trigger a thought shift. Aeon's close to his next domain ability so that could be a deus ex if you want to save the 3rd titan. Plus there could aleady be aeonic birds. Can be a knob to raise or lower the crisis.

You could pretty much Control-F and replace every instance of “floor” with the word “ground” as I doubt she is fighting demons on stone tiling or whatever out in the wilderness

I’ve actually come to hate Lausanne with her recent lapdog attitude with the enemy churches. Yes, I understand that it was the smart thing to comply and remain in their hold and not just bust out. Afterall, she isn’t aeon, she can’t fight a whole army, and the churches have plenty of strong individuals as well as hero artifacts. No, what has pissed me off the most is how she just casually sold out info of her homeland. They literally told her that they planned to subjugate aeon and her homeland and she just casually gave them actual, viable, information about the person who had practically raised her. Even if she had such faith that they couldn’t kill aeon, it just shows how idiotic she is because such information not only effects aeon, but inhabitants of the Freshland. Especially when these people are toting an unknown amount of powerful artifacts that can indeed hurt or kill Aeon

Interesting chapter, regarding the new type of demon. Flying-type...meaning they can pretty much move around the continents. Some of Aeon's AOE effect skills might become less effective due to high altitude. Time to bring that Titan Eagle up!! Hopefully there will be 'volunteer' informants deliver this info to the Freshland next chapter, so they will have some speculation

Yea, I have to agree. I feel like somebody actually insane or heavily bias agenst Aeon like that one research tree hero lady would fit better. I get it, she's pissed off that she was locked in the tree for 20 years and had a lot of time to grow up but straight up selling Neo Freaka out is dumb. TBF, last SS chap implied she only told enough non-relevant info that they'd ignore her but still.

Hell yeah this is what im talking about demon dragons. Aeon already converted a walker into his why not get some awesome ass demon dragon as a titan, or even get a demon dragon corp as his airforce lol.

I feel like Aeon with all of his buffs against demons usually actually benefits from the worst demon invasions. I mean he usually thrives in these situations while the rest of the world gets wrecked.

The Void

Lausanne is independent, bold, and loyal to Aeon. Additionally she has a great skill set, polished via many battles, and has traversed the World for experience, as an adventurer. All things that combine to make her the prime candidate for that Demon Slayer class, that Aeon is holding onto. Not to mention the fact that Aeon’s Soul orbs could help her get over the level limit...Please hurry back to Aeon, Lausanne! O.P-ness awaits you!
