THE BOUNTY (1984) - Full Watch Along

The Bounty is a 1984 British epic historical drama film directed by Roger Donaldson. It depicts the voyage and mutiny of HMS Bounty, with Robert Bolt's screenplay adapting the 1972 book Captain Bligh and Mr. Christian by Richard Hough. It stars Mel Gibson as Fletcher Christian and Anthony Hopkins as William Bligh, with supporting roles played by Laurence Olivier, Daniel Day-Lewis, Liam Neeson, Bernard Hill and Edward Fox.

I remember when I first was going to watch this movie years ago, that I thought I would not like it, since I really like the first two remakes of this. but I did end up liking it. Of course the best to me is still the 1935 "Mutiny on the Bounty" with Charles Laughton and Clark Gable. Which won Best Picture that year. This a must see. Here is the order I rank them. 1. Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) with Charles Laughton and Clark Gable. 2. Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) with Marlon Brando 3. The Bounty (1984) with Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins. 4. In the Wake of the Bounty (1933) with Errol Flynn
