My reaction to Buffy Season 7 Episode 15 "Get It Done".

BACK TO THE FUTURE — Buffy introduces Principal Wood to the Slayer headquarters and he gives her a slayer hand-me-down in return. When the First brings about a death amongst the potentials, Buffy and friends turn to Principal Wood's gift for help. But help is not necessarily what it will bring when Buffy is sent back in time and a demon is let loose in Sunnydale in her place.

Why was Buffy turtle neck Jean jacket combo outfit so cunty for digging a grave 😂😂

So aside from happiness at seeing Kennedy get some of the life drained out of her, this is also one of my favourite episodes of the season in terms of character writing. Also note that they finally paid off the season 5 opener when Dracula tells Buffy that her power is rooted in darkness, because the Slayer's origin was part demonic.

I love this episode. It's the spiritual cousin of Graduatiom Day Pt1, where Buffy quits the Council, and Checkpoint when she restablishes a relationship with them on her terms. She asks the Shadow men for knowledge- they refuse, and offer her power, on their terms, reaffirming her as a tool, objectifying her. She refuses this plan, and it's only then they give her the vision (this knowledge). I'm glad she didn't go along with this. What could making her kinda stronger actually do against the horde of ubervamps we saw here anyway? Can't believe we're this close to the end! Really enjoying your vids ❤️

I can’t stand Kennedy. She’s so damn cocky for someone who has been in this fight for all of two minutes. Like when she told Spike they’re trained and he can barely stand… like, bitch, Spike has been fighting centuries before you were even born 😂

I think Buffy’s speech is indicative of how she’s been growing all through the seasons, she’s been successful as a slayer because of the love and support and help she has but she’s always done her best to be the only one shouldering the weight of the world, and she’s said more than once that in the end she stands alone because she’s the slayer, the one chosen girl (yeah obviously Faith but she’s not in the picture). Leading so many is a new concept to her and this is the first time she’s gotten some pushback from so many, so I don’t think she handled it well.. but she wasn’t entirely wrong in what she was saying

I think most of Buffy’s points were right but saying someone who just killed herself was stupid is fucked up. Media was less sensitive about suicide back then though. The shadow cast scene is one of my favorites in the series, it’s just so cool that they have ancient magical slayer stuff. They should have made some kind of collectible out of it.
