My reaction to Buffy Season 7 Episode 16 "Storyteller".

GENTLE VIEWERS — Andrew attempts to document the life and work of Buffy, Slayer of the vampires, much to the annoyance of Buffy. Meanwhile, students at Sunnydale High begin exhibiting the signs of going to school above the Hellmouth — signs Buffy has seen before, but not all at once like this. Buffy and Principal Wood discover the Seal of Danzalthar is the cause and set out to find a way to stop it.

This episode really solidifies Andrew as a more endearing character for me, and who would have thought it was even possible after season 6 🤣🤣 but just like you said, Buffy and Angel really have a knack for taking minor and sometimes even inconsequential characters and really giving them a chance to shine.. everyone who handled casting on both shows earned every dollar they ever made Also I’m super excited to hear you’re gonna check out the games 😁😁 they aren’t perfect but they’re great for fans of the show! The combat really does a great job of capturing the show’s vibe

23:09 - Don't forget the cheese. It's the key to everything.

For those who didn't already know, the opening to this episode is referencing Masterpiece Theatre. You can see the original intro here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foG8zLMWJ_Y

Andrew getting in on the found footage bandwagon

I love how willimg they were to do experimental or high-concept episodes. I think it's one of the big advantages of truly longform tv (rip) that you have the space to do that.

yesss I was so stoked to see this reaction The intro always cracks me up “Vampi-res” The show convincingly gave Andrew depth & a redemption arc thanks to good writing and acting

Definitely one of the most fun episodes of the season! I always have a soft spot for these types of alternative episodes. I feel like they must be so fun for the cast and crew to film.

I lose it when Willow says abracadabra in Andrew's reimagining 🤣🤣
