Ah, I thought Lucian would be present at one of the hearings to show that he was experimented on through the result of his own body/powers? I imagined him showing to the court, using devices measuring at least for light and dark or demonstrating by casting spells, how abnormally high his affinities are and how it’s impossible that such a feat can happen. I know Lucian can’t flaunt his Formless Essence to the world, but I envisioned him present the results of being experimented on in a limited manner. Also for dramatic effect, seeing how the court observers, journalists would react haha. Word is going get out there somehow day how pure his affinities are if he’s going to work alongside the formerly assigned Student Ambassadors. It’s pretty funny to think, that Lucian will receive “love” letters though not the way he was expecting, like greedy marriage proposals with the goal to inherit his pure affinities, especially when the possibility of opposing high affinities can coexist so that “their future children” can receive BOTH of these potentials down the noble bloodline.

We don't know what his affinities look like anymore. They could all be very high, either because that is just how Formless Essence works, or because he had a high holy affinity beforehand. Or maybe affinity is a skill thing now, and any of them can reach one hundred percent, but only if Lucian weaves them right. Currently, these hearings are only about presenting evidence against Lucian. They will only start presenting evidence in Lucian's defense after that is all done. Which might take a while. Court is slow, and there is a lot of evidence to present.

'Vlad Mascare' has got to be one of the most goth names I've ever read. Sounds like the main character of a vampire romance novel. "...small, slight, a little weasely, but still handsome enough to be a playable character", a twink then, got it.

Nemo added new internal monologue for Aurelia in the RR release of chapter 44. To summarize, she has never killed anyone, but she is looking forward to it, because the demons in her dreams told her it was fun. Also, all the monastics wear fur clothes, which are somehow made from their own fur? I don't know how that works. I hope it's just magical clothes, and not shaved or skinned holy beasts.

Dragons sound like another great opportunity for Lucian to learn some more new beast skills. I wonder who this Dragonwarden is? Is he long lived, or does he come from a line dragonwardens? Maybe a half dragon or something? Someone brought up the idea of Lucian disguising himself as the new divine holy beast. Seeing how the public is treating him, that might not be a terrible idea. It would let him openly transform, and it would save him from his current reputation. He would have to make sure to keep his identities seperate. Maybe he could create a unique illusion spell to disguise himself?
