Why? Why would you put that image in my head? This is awful. Big man would literally squish him like a bug. There wouldn't be anything left by the time the warden was done. Just reduced to a red smear on the man's bedsheets. 😭😭😭

Since the Dragonwarden’s helmet is fused with his face, I wonder how he can eat if he can’t talk? Is his mouth melted too? 🤔 Insert small pieces of food through the helmet’s breathing holes or eye slits? I’m glad we finally got Lucian’s memory flashback of Sancar Alkoyen.

So, I don't think they arrived in this new land via mundane means. Could that passage have been like a hell portal, taking them across space in an unnatural way? Who knows where this new land could be. Maybe some unknown area of wild land, or a different continent, or its own magical realm. But a magical realm with its own functioning sun seems rather extreme. Same with this being a different planet, or solar system. The Dragonwarden seems to be the last of a line of people. There probably used to be more people living in this village. Most likely, they were just humans, and the warden isn't some ancient half dragon immortal or something. For how long has this community existed separately from the rest of the world, and what brought about its end?. Seems that Lucian is going for the dragon champion route. If he pulls the right strings, maybe he could set things up to recruit the dragons and the warden against the demons? The extra manpower would be far more useful than whatever he could loot off their bodies. It's looking like Sancar got killed trying to help Lucian. But there might be more to what happened. Perhaps the old Lucian just asked for Sancar's help to set him up to get killed?

I was thinking the EXACT same thing lol... So either the whole "fused to his head" part damaged his VOCAL CORDS specifically... Or he would literally be dead because he wouldn't be able to breathe or eat... I mean what the fuck does a "Helmet fused to a face" do to stop you from speaking??? People can speak with literal gags INSIDE their mouths... and easily can speak with say a helmet on... its just a bit harder to understand... Yeah this whole char seems a bit strange... Magic grove? Apparent immortal? (or at least SUPER OLD) guy??? That is also "mute" because of "reasons that clearly don't make full sense"... Something is certainly strange there... I'm also happy about the flashback... Honestly by the looks of things it seems the guy tried helping Lucian to either kill/humilliate Metterand? Or do "something" to stop the engagement? And then I would assume either of two things happened: Things went to shit and Metterand killed him/had Lucian kill him by threatening Cate as one option. OR this whole convo was a setup and Metterand is ALREADY threatening Lucian with Cate's future and so Lucian is forced to basically get "Sancar Alkoyen" to "help him save Cate" only already with the plan to kill the guy???
