The power if information.

Wow damn you know Lucian those fears "Oh no the big demon conspiracy might start acting against me wholesale if they find out I'm their enemy" I think my dude they have ALWAYS been doing that no? Literally it seems the fucking DUKE CYRIL was the demons "greatest non outright possessed ally" And thus Lucian working against him as his son already put him straight up into a "enemy of the demons" Position before the whole transmigration LMAO!!!

I don't think Cyril is an ally, per-se, to the demons. I think he is, more or less, Henry Kissinger / Otto von Bismark - A hyper-pragmatist who cares more about holding his nation together than virtually any principal.

Lucian to them: But you won't be able to handle the truth

Another appearance of golem magic. I wonder if Lucian will ever gain access to it himself? His Formless Essence will let him use it, and create unique variations of it, but will Lucian be able to get around the demon possession issue? Lucian does have access to demonic energy, so perhaps he could cast spells with it using his Formless Essence, or just use the genuine stuff in his mark, to prevent the issue? I'm also curious about how a mage controls their golems. Do the golems only obey orders depending on something like the unique magical signature of their owner? Or maybe they go off face and voice? Or it could even be a direct link, formed either by magic or some other supernatural force. If it is something like a unique magical signature, maybe Lucian could copy it with his Formless Essence, to trick other people's golems into obeying him? If demonic magic can't be used for the same purpose, anyway. We keep getting more people with debilitating injuries. The Dragonwarden might be the worst one. He was fused to his armor hundreds of years ago, and then experienced major changes to his body that made him extremely long lived. Who knows if it's even possible to get him out of there at this point. We don't even know if anything can be done to help Lucian, Cate, or Miriam with their conditions. I wonder how killing dragons can make someone immortal? There must be some power within them that can be, at least partially, gained upon slaying them. Another power that Formless Essence may be able to copy? But like divine and demonic energy, I doubt it will be a true replica, and it will likely only stick around temporarily. Still, potentially useful?
