Ty for the chapter! 🫡

WarStrider72

Well, if Cyril takes that devils deal at least Lucian will now have a reason to kill him

Nemobrosus

In hindsight, as it's written, the last scene of this chapter doesn't convey what I hoped-- that there's someone here at this summit feeding information to the demons who is close enough to earn Algard's confidence. I'm strongly considering replacing it with another scene.

The problem is that Cyril was able to fight Belcourt to a standstill when he was in his prime, to the point that Belcourt was forced to sacrifice the entirety of the inquisition to get him off his back. If Cyril becomes the vessel for the Demon Emperor and is fully healed it's possible he may become just as dangerous or more so than the DE would've been originally. Even without the Formless Essence.

Oh I didn't think that at all. I've always assumed after reading previous scenes that if there's a crack of doubt demons could skim your thoughts and infiltrate your dreams. I just assumed that its not really the demons contacting him but illusions and doubt caused by demonic influence?

Something the way Cyril and Belcourt communicate each other gives me doomed, toxic, angst old men bl vibe undertones.

The Olivia from chapter 91 to 95 was presumably a deceased New Riverran commoner Student Ambassador during Cyril’s youth. The other separate Olivia from volume 1 aka Olivia Vantz-Leon is also a Student Ambassador but a noble from the royal line cadet branch as the new generation. To avoid confusion between the two Olivia’s with their shared names, red hair and freckled face appearances, Nemobrosus changed commoner Olivia’s name to Dinah in chapter 102 to 103.
