Hey, cool chapter. Also on one hand I tend to agree with removing the dreams, on the other it brings tention about whether or not will Cyril succumb to the dark. I am still hoping his stubbornness and duty prevails.

The solution to the problem that is Cyril is for Lucian to tell him the truth.

I wonder if Lucian will pass the soothsayer blessing to Brutus? I'm sure Brutus could pull a lot more off with it here than Lucian could. Hopefully Brutus isn't poisoned. And if he is, they still might be able to pull off the voodoo dagger trick, to even greater effect. That would inspire a top tier demon to run away. After all this, there is no way that Brutus' army is going to let him go solo again. Not just because he's put himself in a near death situation right here, but because he's gone off gathering glory without them. They'll all be jealous about missing out on the courtroom performance, bridge duel, fighting off a minor demon army, and forcing a major demon to retreat.

hmm i think i like the decision to cut that scene. adds more mystery + makes it more crazy later for sure

Oh, I thought the dreams were the obvious way for Cyril to realize a demon informant was among them.
