Great writing of Cyril here. Ty for the chapter! 🫡

I’m honestly wanting for Cyril to do a face turn. And for Lucian and Cyril to bury the hatchet (along with Lydia).

Cliffhanger! God damnit!

Am I supposed to be siding more and more with Cyril and against Lucian and Theobald here? The whole point was to show how messed up Lucian's childhood was and absolve him of responsibility, so going after Lydia should be just as effective. But someone who is supposed to be the Sherlock Holmes of this world, who got killed early on in game (assuming it was finding out something about demons he shouldn't have?) hasn't really shown much skill in finding secrets outside of getting completely duped by Lydia, who he found, and is instead just blindly obsessed with taking down Cyril. Heck, Aurelia has done a better job of investigating with limited information. I realize Cyril is neutral at best, and what he did to Cate was awful, but his attitude towards Lucian feels entirely appropriate, given who Lucian was before the story started. I don't even understand what the lie was that Lucian caught in relation to his upbringing mentioned this chapter. He's also been proven to be a powerful asset against the demons, especially compared to Lydia. I love the story, it just feels weird that I'm starting to root against the main character a bit lately.

Maybe we’ll get there after Dinah’s counter. I want to see how much more Lucian’s childhood is messed up too but I guess we have to be patient. The trial is still ongoing.

Rowan my man! Helen my gal! May the powers of friendship unite!

I’m going to be so disappointed in the judge if he doesn’t proceed. Cyril just practically verified Dinah’s identity
