I have a feeling that Aurelia might be able to connect with Cyril. On the whole 'being tempted by demons' sort of thing. It might help him resist the temptation, now that he's at rock bottom, knowing that there's someone else who understands what he feels. Or they could just kill him. Or, even worse, today is the day the first emperor resurrects in Cyril's body.

There might be a continuity issue: Theobald, Helen, Dinah, and Rowan are outside having a drink around campfire. Aurelia says its raining. I don't think both of these things can happen together.

Going to talk to Cyril right now feels like a terrible idea. At the same time, also sounds like an excellent time to walk in on Belcourt trying to make him join up. Which can then go either way, I honestly have no idea. Even then, Aurelia and Lucian has fantastic chemistry together. The way she was needling him was great, and undeniably she got him out of the funk he was in.

I think Cyril likes having a competent son more than he hates having the skeletons in his cellar exposed, considering it makes fighting Belcourt easier and as he has already abdicated is is really not so much a problem any more that his reputation gets scratched. If they manage to turn the whole legal proceeding against Lydia, he might even call the whole thing a win, especially if there is hope to cure his leg because they are making a cure for the black bloom.
