👀👀 Wow

Sean M.

Absolutely love how everything Lucian does with Aurelia gets misconstrued as a secret love affair - "He gasped in fear and instinctively reached for his lovers hand! She's his rock, as can only be expected of someone with such pure holy affinity!"

How am I supposed to survive the weekend if you give me a cliffhanger like this? I’ve seen this coming and still doesn’t impede my anticipation, and maybe not Lydia’s death so quick

Jodrod

nah bro is just lying to himself and everyone else is correct

Saddy Storm

Well, that escalated quickly. I need MOAAARRRR!

Jake

Ty for the chapter! 🫡

Rebel

The cliffiest cliff to have ever cliffed.

Logrus

Damn it Cyril!

Remember Cyril, the Sith always betray one another

Swinter

Oof. Not exactly what I suspected, but close enough I think. It's a strength of your storytelling that I genuinely don't know how this will go. I suspect Cyril is lost to them. But I only give it 75% odds on that. 75% odds that he goes with Belcour,

Daniel Bessette

Lucian has his work cut out for him. Cyril knew the old Lucian better than almost anyone else, so it'll be that much harder to be convinced Lucian's changed. I hope he succeeds. I wonder if Lucian struggles accepting how large his changes can affect the story. He knew Aurelia only as a reoccurring villain in the game, and Cyril as a background character who died without issue, and now both might be reversed.

Algard must be the worst suitor in history. "How should I pursue her? Ah, I know. I'll arrange for her to attend the same school as her fiance, so they can spend more time together." Also, no way is Belcourt as calm as he is pretending to be. He is in the middle of an enemy city, filled with expert combatants. If the city realizes he is here, his only chance at escape is to already be fleeing, or to have some sort of escape rope or portable hell portal. Belcourt needs to kill these three before any of them can escape and alert the city. The question is, will this be a three on two, or a four on one? Belcourt could win in the first case, but likely not the second. He would be pinned down, and one of the four would run to get reinforcements. Also, looks like we will finally have the reveal on Aurelia's loyalties. She is in the perfect position to betray Lucian and rejoin the demons. She can completely turn this fight in Belcourt's favor, by destroying any attempt by Lucian to convince Cyril, and by aiding Belcourt. If she decides to side with Lucian here, you really can't question if she's just waiting for a chance to escape. This is her perfect opportunity to do so. Of course, that still doesn't mean she is a trustworthy person. Just because she doesn't want to join the demons anymore doesn't mean she won't selfishly harm her allies, if she thinks it will get her what she wants.
