Poor Belcourt, he finally got to show his final form off, but now he doesn't even have five minutes left. I'm still so curious about him and other demons. From what I can tell, it looks like powerful demons gain their own unique abilities. The Golemancer's eyes, Ruminian's wall hacks, and Belhazek's teleports. But we haven't seen Belcourt's ability yet. A lot of questions here. Does he even have an ability, yet? And how did he leave behind an arm, if he's a demon? Shouldn't it have turned to ash, as happens to demon corpses? Has he even become a full demon, or is he somehow midway through the process, or maybe the Golemancer is somehow wrong, and Belcourt isn't like him and Ruminian? Not to mention, why does a demon need to use an inquisitor's mark to use demonic energy? Also, how is Belcourt a golemancer? The Golemancer claims the methods to be lost. You think he would have done his best to learn how Belcourt acheived it. Unless Belcourt himself doesn't know, or his method just isn't acceptable for the Golemancer. Maybe we'll get some answers later. Edit: Also, crazy how Belcourt is willing to die here. He's fairly intelligent, so I've been assuming that he's just been out for his own benefit. What other ideology could there be, other than loyalty to a man who doesn't seem to care about anything but his own power? Maybe all these guys working for the first emperor really have had their minds messed with. Maybe the first emperor possesses a power that allows him to do that?
