I would suggest taking a look at Ryn (another patreon writer) to do POV in a similar way. Rehashing the same scene from a different view is not great. But cutting out the MCs view and just doing the pov switch can be surprisingly effective.

I get why you'd say that, but today's and tomorrow's chapter are doing a bit more than just a recap. Since it's the start of book 2, I wanted to shift the POV and show how Hecate actually looks to a commoner who has to live in her world, and the impact she has on them. It’s also meant to set up a contrast for the heavier/serious upcoming chapters like 103 and 104 where we delve deeper into how she and Vasil see themselves versus what everyone else sees.
