Sup Shartlatans! Here's next week's podcast early and with extra footage because you're all so so special insiders! We also thought it might be fun to source our potential YT title from the big minds of shart (you)! After you watch the episode, leave your best title in the comments and we might use it on YT when the episode goes up next Tuesday! Is this us being lazy? Maybe. Is this your chance to impress us with your knowledge of how to hack the YT algorithm? Yes!

Olivia may want to visit an SLP to discuss vocal hygiene and learn some exercise to avoid losing her voice. As professional voice users, you want to be careful or you can develop vocal nodules or other nasty conditions. Please take care of yourselves! ♥️

Your outfits are both SO good in this episode. They're never like, NOT good, but y'all are serving SO HARD here that it had to be addressed, by me

Olivia, ask your dentist if you have a tongue tie! The raspiness and discomfort could be because you're breathing wrong in your sleep, which is caused by poor tongue posture, which is caused by ankyloglossia (tongue tie). I didn't find out that I had one until this year, because I switched dentists recently, and my new dentists were like, "You have a pretty serious tongue tie. I can't believe they didn't cut that when you were a baby." So at my doctor's appointment this month, I'm gonna ask for a referral to get it cut. It's a minimally invasive procedure with a short recovery period, so I'm only mildly scared about it. And I've heard that having a tongue tie just causes a whole domino effect of various conditions that cause other conditions, and that getting it cut is LIFE-CHANGING for both your physical AND mental health. I guess bc it impacts the way you breathe in your sleep, it lowers your sleep quality, which can be the root cause for all kinds of mental disorders. So, I'm pretty excited for that, and I wonder if maybe you have the same thing.
