My wife and I were supposed to take that ferry last year at the start of a vacation to Canada but there was once in a century flooding that required us to go around through Detroit instead much to our chagrin.

Glad to finally see this video after you mentioned seeing the southernmost point of Canada on Twitter. Wanted to do it myself, but the limited schedule is hard to plan around (plus if I went to Sandusky, I’d have to go to Cedar Point). Hope you can get to the least-used station in Michigan at some point!

First trip of yours I've seen that I'm strongly compelled to recreate

About 15 years ago I was helping move a boat to Kelly's Island from Toronto. After leaving the boat I took the ferry to Sandusky planning on getting one of the multitude (hah!) of taxis to the Greyhound station, so I could head to Cleveland & catch my flight back home. At the time the station was way out of town, so taxi was the only choice. There was only one (shared) taxi running that day. Two hours later it arrived. After the driver stopped to do an insulin shot (!) we picked up a bunch of kids who were fired from Cedar Point and just made the bus. Glad to see the Greyhound situation has improved in Sandusky!

I've thought about the potential route an embarrassing amount over the past 5-years and am just so happy to see you doing the things I wish I were a person who does

Miles, did the hotel wallpaper taste like snozzberries?

Here is a fun fact: the southernmost point of Canada is further south of the northernmost point of California!

I did ride the entire Scarborough RT (a month before it closed) at least in part because you said "you should do fun things" in your video about it!

Miles, you gotta stop beating around the bush with these little baby ferries. Get out to Vancouver, check out the skytrain, SeaBus and the 99 B-Line (the busiest bus route in North America) and most of all, take North America’s largest ferry network (and the continent’s largest ferries) between Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay. ((Also if you do do this, hmu, I could get you on the bridge.
