There's so much I'd like to share about Oidecalla's personality, but that's really best left to the third chapter, whenever I get to do that haha. Fighting the writer's desire to overshare!

What I can say is this: Oidecalla's kingdom represents a positive nihilism. His chapter explores the following question: If nothing matters, why limit your enjoyment of life?

Oidecalla's words:

"So be joyful in the life you have, and say to yourself, this is enough. After a lifetime of struggle against tyranny, building empire and army, this garden pleases me most of all. It simply grows, and I tend to it. Eventually, it will envelope this house. Perhaps then I will sleep without fear of waking again."
