I'm trying a different process with these pages, so warn me if something look strange about them. I SHOULD just try to switch to Clip Studio Paint and do the entire comic in one program, but I'm instead testing out going back to something more old-school for me.
I'm still drawing the pages in Sketchbook Pro 6, and coloring in Photoshop CS2 (which I could replace with Krita and get a pretty similar process with a newer program)-- but instead of using Indesign CS2 to letter, I'm using Affinity Publisher.
The big upside of that unlike Indesign CS2, Affinity Publisher has export options were you can save as web files-- meaning I can export out of the lettering program. Which is kind of what I used to do in the old days (but it was more complex). I don't have to copy and paste the lettering into Photoshop and save out from there. And every lettering correction requiring to edit in one program and paste into another.
Also Indesign CS2 doesn't allow pixel-based page sizes, so it's a little trickier to set up the pages.
This way saves me some steps. The information in the header and footer is made along with the lettering, and the program automatically adds the page number at the top of the page. I could also export the comic as PDF if I wanted.
I still should look more closely at CSP thought. Doing it all in one program would be nice, I just worry that
