Unfortunate news (Patreon)

TL;DR:

• My mum's health has sharply declined and she's in hospital again.

• I'll be taking at least a week off to go see her and arrange a higher level of care for when she gets out.

• I will be pausing billing due to the uncertainty of content in November and the complete absence of it in December.

The summary above mostly covers it. My mum has been in and out of hospital all year, and she's not doing well. I'll be flying across the country in the early hours of tomorrow to support her and make sure she gets the care she needs once she's out.

Obviously, this isn't great for the writing schedule. At the very least, there will be no chapters next week. I've discussed before the technical issues that inevitably arise when pausing billing on Patreon, but I can't justify charging patrons when the chapter releases will be somewhere between spotty and entirely absent.

For this reason, I will be suspending billing for November and December. I will do my best to keep up with the inevitable technical issues, but my attention will honestly be elsewhere, especially in this first week.

I'm sorry about this unexpected hiatus.
