Yes, it's been discussed before that even fatal damage to a mask can be fixed, just can take a while (and can't be used until sufficiently healed). Huh. I wonder if maybe Rebirth lost control over some of their agents? Like, hopped a few of them up on the whole 'Evil Aliens!' thing until they were frothing at the mouth, and then were absolutely shocked when those agents decided to just take matters into their own hands in a way that only causes Rebirth more problems? :/

I do kinda wish Rebirth was a little smarter. But this definitely did work. If ReBirth is going to be a true threat they need some teeth though. Nestra’s demon dad could be using them as a proxy.
