Hey folks!

I hope you're all having a great week so far.

So the other day I showed you the 80's VHS sequence I'd been working on - and now here's the full video on glorious Akihabara!

(Be sure to make it to the end of the video for a second 80s VHS scene!)

The only thing we didn't feature that I expect people will want to see is Maid Cafes, which I'm sure we'll film at a later date - not that I'm a fan of the concept to be honest!

But for now enjoy the video - and if you have any questions about the video or anything we featured, ask away below!

There is a maid cafe every 10 meters in Akihabara, I went to one just to check off the box. A coffee, a sundae, and a picture with one of the maids was not worth 3000 yen, but it wasn't a bad experience.

You don't have to film this episode if you don't want to. I think other YouTubers had already covered the Maid Cafe scene quite extensively over the recent years.

Need to visit some of the anime stores! I want to see what you do surrounded by bishonen cutouts, Chris! And SquareEnix cafe there too. And M's would be fun, but not family friendly...

This is the perfect abroad in Japan video!

Maybe I'm a bit of a snob but I've always stayed clear of Akihabara, even though my morning walk used to take me right by it. I'll check it out.

Now this looks like my kind of area. Lots of electronics and old school consoles :)

Loved the video. I'm wondering, though, what is it about maid cafes that you don't like? I'd like to know your thoughts. I'm not sure what they're really like, given that I get my impression of them from anime... but, as odd as this may seem, I'm the sort of person who loves to serve others, so working at a maid cafe seems like it might be my dream job. Lol But if it's crazier than I imagine, I will probably retract that statement.

I really liked this video.. It's great to see a non "otaku" more distant perspective of akihabara for once.. Not just someone freaking out about just anime. Thank you! I will most certainly visit this area.

Great video. I admit I AM a big anime fan and while that's part of the draw of Akihabara, I appreciate the outsider perspective. I love Asian culture in general (I'm part Taiwanese) and especially Japanese culture. I'd love to visit the country someday but I have no idea where to go. Your video gives me a starting point and I'm grateful for that. Well enough gushing, love your videos and I look forward to watching more of them.
