Hey guys!

So here it is, the long awaited Patreon exclusive commentary/reaction video for Natsuki: The Movie, the hit motion picture from last year, funded by Patreon and watched by 750,000 people worldwide.

Critics called it:

  • “Really good.”
  • “An inspirational story.”
  • “It's better than horses. It literally excited me more than horses.”

This week Natsuki and I purchased some reasonably priced alcohol, sat down for the full 50 minute run-time and answered the all important questions such as:

  • What two scenes used CGI special effects?
  • Why was filming Natsuki’s indoor skydive so precarious?
  • The story of how we met Pete Donaldson for the first time ever while filming in London.
  • And what do I most regret about the documentary?

Now some time has passed, we wanted to sit down and reflect on it all - particularly as it’s the stepping stone to next year’s project(s).

So whether you’re watching it with a drink, or listening to it while decorating your premium Christmas tree, hopefully you’ll learn a few things about the arduous filmmaking process, and have a few laughs along the way (as we did).

Consider it a starter in a four course meal, given there’s an upcoming 2-3 videos with Natsuki coming out this month in the run up to Christmas, as well as the big project next year as well.

Enjoy the video folks and enjoy the rest of your Sunday afternoon!
Chris

I don't have time to watch it right this second, but rest assured I will be soon! I'm so excited for this. =D

No way, they really called it better than horses? I'm so proud of you Chris, and of this community!

An early Christmas present, thank you .

What I really like about this documentary is the time, effort and money put into giving Natsuki memorable experiences and making his life more exciting. He's lucky to have met you.

By the way, if you go sky-diving again, do it for real. Hanging suspended from a parachute (and being way too far from the ground to hurt your neck on it) is the best part.

ah yes, my favorite kinda Monday booster... thanks Chris

Maybe Chris was lucky to have met Natsuki. Maybe if he hadn't met Natsuki, he would have stayed in Japan for a couple of years and went back to the UK because life can be boring without interesting people around.

It was nice to be able to give Natsuki a once in a lifetime adventure and share it with the world. I think it's definitely something we can build on if we were to do it again!

I've been trying to find that video with the talkshow featuring Simon and Martina again, but I just can't find it anymore! Where has it gone?
