Forecast Mode: A New Test Feature in Tabletop Battles (Patreon)
Content
Hi everyone, we're rolling out a new feature in Tabletop battles this week: FORECAST MODE. Forecast mode will be available to our Warlord Patrons ($10 level).
One request we've gotten from competitive players - especially players doing teams events - is that it's impossible to forecast a game's score without changing the actual score of the game. Forecast mode lets you skip ahead and predict a score without changing the game state.

How It Works
In the game shown the current score is 15-14. A Forecast is added to the game by selecting “Use Forecast Mode” from the menu in the upper-right.

After entering Forecast mode, the score in the top bar will be your Forecast Score and you can see a banner at the top of the screen with the actual game score. While editing in Forecast Mode, you can make changes without affecting the actual game score of 15-14.

In this case, we give each player 10 points for Supply Drop in all rounds. This makes the Forecast score 51-50. After pressing “Done” on the Forecast score banner, we are back to editing the actual game scores while still seeing the Forecast score in the banner.

Now comes the best part. In the game Forecast, we gave each player 10 points for Supply Drop in every round. However, in round 2, you only score 5 points. This change not only updates the actual game score update from 15-14 to 20-14, but the Forecast score updates as well with a new Forecast of 46-50.
If you don’t need the Forecast anymore, or want to start over with a fresh Forecast, you can select the “Delete Forecast Scores” option in the menu.
Forecast Mode is part of a suite of features we're still developing that will likely be focused more on the higher level competitive crowd and teams events crew, so let us know what you think and be sure to submit any bug reports if you have any issues!
