To be consequent also means to continue following the wrong track. 

I have to admit, that sounds quite negative... Whatever, let me get to the point:

I'm thinking about making future animation more fluent in movement. 

I would have loved this technique for a future project, but since it's so damn simple to do, I don't really need to put extra time-resources in it.

The other side of this is that future animations will look better then older ones in terms of movement. 

After this poll we can talk about a greater animation rework, which would make more sense then ever, but consumes a massive amount of time.

Anyhow, one step after another.

Have you seen the Sienna Fairy animation? This is the kind of animation movement I consider doing for "zum Damenhaus". 

In case you don't know what I am talking about, just look in the attatchment. I got a comparison there for you. 

Siennas animation looks better, but should I go with this for all my future animations?

I actually kind of like the old style of animations better than the new one. The fairy animation looked like it was higher in framerate but it sacrificed control over the movements themselves. Everything was too flowy and like, mechanical almost in the ease-in/ease-out of the movements. But at the same time, this is all about what you really would prefer to do. It's your project and if you think one looks better than the other and want to do it that way instead, you should follow your gut and do it. :)

Your old style does have a certain unique charm to it. Sometimes the newest and most advanced things are not necessarily the best things. ;)

I slightly prefer the new ones. But then again, the old ones are fine too, i wouldn't spend time redoing them if you were thinking on that :) If you do get time though, it'd be nice to get a little variations on the slaves. Some slightly shorter/taller ones? different bust sizes? If it's not too hard to adapt the existing animations it'd add some nice variety :D

There is something to say for both types of animations to be honest. However, since you made the game into what it is now, I think the most important thing is to do what feels best to you. Your opening sentence already seems to give away how you think about the matter the way I see it.

Thanks for your opinion. For different skin color I need to experiment first. Different body heights is something I would exclude since I would need to adjsut every animation. Bust sizes? Definetely the most possible. I think about it and go through various option.

I am really torn between those two. I'm sure I can give away a decision in a few days.
