I have made much thoughts for this topic. I ended up with the following changes:
First of, the mechanics of the bar, gloryholes, etc. stay the same.
The "auto brothel" function will get fully integrated into the game instead of just being an option. Simultaniously it will get massively improved, so clients have their own thoughts of which girls they choose in the end.
"Normal" clients will choose girls at random (later surely with some small tweaks) and walk straight to their targets. If she is occupied they'll wait in front of the room.
Later, clients with more expectations will show up, similar to the current "likes" system. Hovering over them with the cursor will stop them from walking and reveal their wishes. Furthermore other options then just "dismiss" will appear. More on that in a second.
First they want only 1 thing for certain. Later it will be 2 or 3 things. If one of those expectations is not fulfilled, then a new mechanic will come into place: The tolerance system.
Every client has his own tolerance bar between, let's say 1 and 100. This varies, depending on game state (how long you played) and a random aspect.
The tolerance system is the last instance that decides if a client is leaving or staying (and just takes what he can get).
The player can increase a clients tolerance by offering him free drinks, a relaxing handjob at the bar, or even reduce the price of a girl just for him. (More options will certainly come)
It's also possible to let clients wait (like they do now in front of the elevators). You can use this time to organize the room, girl, etc for the client. But be careful, he won't wait forever. In addition it took some of his tolerance to let him wait at all, so you better make it worth it!
The spawn rate from those better clients will never outnumber the simple clients.
Okay, I'd say these were the most important aspects of the new client.
