Context for this movie: - The same way there are muggle-born witches/wizards (i.e. witches/wizards who have muggle parents), there are squibs (i.e. people born to witches/wizards but with no magical powers). Mrs. Figg is a squib and she was tasked by Dumbledore to watch Harry ever since he was a baby. Also Filch (Wulder Frey) is a squib. - The Triwizard Tournament from the last movie also awarded the winner money. Harry originally tried to give the money to Cedric's dad but he didn't want it. So Harry instead gave it to Fred and George to start their jokes business under the condition that they buy Ron new robes. And in turn they decided to make Harry a silent partner to the business. Which is why they had no issue dropping out of school. - Harry had detention multiple times with Umbridge to the point those words were scared into his hands for days on end. - In the book you learn that the prophecy was about a boy born at the end of the July to Voldemort's enemies... thing is two boys were born at the end of July: Harry and Nevile. So Voldemort sent Bellatrix and Barty Crouch Jr. to the Longbottoms while he went to the Potters himself because he saw them as the bigger threat.

No, Voldemort did not send Bellatrix, Radolphus, and Barty Crouch Jr to the Longbottoms. They went to the Longbottoms on their own, after Voldemort failed to kill Harry and disappeared, trying to find information to help them locate Voldemort. They weren't going after Neville. Dumbledore surmised that Voldemort decided that Harry was the one the prophecy was about (without Voldy actually knowing the entire prophecy), but that was all on Dumbledore and we don't actually know how Voldemort made his decision.

In the book, Cho Chang's friend Marietta Edgecomb told Umbridge about the DA meetings, and was instantly cursed by the sign-up document, resulting in her getting the word SNEAK on her face in basically big zits that wouldn't go away. Harry and Cho had a falling out because Cho defended Marietta's actions. In the book, Umbridge intended to use Veritaserum (truth serum) on Harry but Harry was told that Snape gave her fake Veritaserum instead.

Yeah the Dumbledore escape is very cool in the movie, but it is quite different in the books. I think Kingsly helps him stun everyone, then Dumbledor has a conversation and says that when he disappears everyone will wake up (even Kingsly to pretend he didnt help), and it will appear like no time has passed. Very cool but a bit different and it'd make for a much longer scene. They really had to speed along.

haha steam trains are still a thing you can go on in the uk, the famous train shot of the viaduct is in scotland, its the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Hogwarts is kinda Alnwick Castle in england, but theres literally thousands of castles in the uk that could be inspiration too.
