Attack on Titan 4x19-20 “Two Brothers” & “Memories of the Future” | First Time Reaction

Patreon for Watch Alongs and Early Access: https://www.patreon.com/diegesisTV Arianna and Maple reach the absolute pinnacle of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2. In “Two Brothers” and “Memories of the Future,” the battle for Paradis reaches a reality-shattering climax as the Jaeger brothers finally make contact, leading us into the timeless, ethereal world of the Paths. “Two Brothers” is a non-stop adrenaline rush and an emotional wrecking ball. As the battlefield descends into total carnage, we witness the devastating power of Zeke’s scream and the tragic transformation of those caught in its wake. The episode builds to a moment that has gone down in anime history—Eren’s desperate sprint toward Zeke and a shot that changed everything. Arianna and Maple are losing it over Gabi’s fateful move and the breathtaking, slow-motion journey into the Coordinate. The narrative then shifts gears into the psychological masterpiece that is “Memories of the Future.” As Zeke takes Eren through the memories of their father, Grisha, we realize that everything we thought we knew about the series was a lie. This episode introduces a level of mind-bending time manipulation that recontextualizes the entire story from Episode 1. From the basement reveal to the terrifying truth behind the Attack Titan’s power, Arianna and Maple are left speechless by Eren’s true role in his father’s past. History isn't just being made; it’s being rewritten. Join Arianna and Maple as they witness the moment the "protagonist" officially evolves into something much more complex and terrifying. I lol'd when you started talking about the ICBA (intercontinental ballistic Armin) at the end Also, as you're obviously far enough along, good job at predicting Eren's actual "final solution" 😬

Oh, one more thing regarding your idea of Armin as an ICBM: A "slingshot", when it comes to space maneuvering, is the use of the gravity of a celestial body to alter the velocity and course of a projectile/craft in a flyby; what space-going ICBMs/ICBA do is regular ballistics. A good depiction & explanation of a gravity slingshot can be found in hit film The Martian.

Long comment because I am short on time and I don't know how not to yap - sorry. As great as this show is, one aspect of humanity that is neglect to show is that, as quick as we are to hate eachother, we are also very quick to forgive. Somehow in the show the hate between Eldian and Marlians survived hundreds of years and I don't see how that could be. In our real world, the Germans hate the news and genocided them - two generations later the hate is forgiven. Today, could you say that the Jews and the Germans hate eachother to the same degree that they used to. Don't get me wrong, I think some Germans or Jews still remember and feel the same way but for most don't. Even then, with more generations and more time I imagine the hate will cool over. I know this because today do you dont hate Mongolians. There is a very good chance hundreds of years ago the Mongols killed your ancestors; they definitely killed my ancestors. But today, "who cares." I find it hard to imagine that the Marlians would hold a grudge for hundreds of years against a people that they have in cages, more likely I believe after a few generations they would have moved on. As great as this show is, and i love this show, it shows us humans in a worse light than we deserve. We are pretty bad and we can be very hateful, I think we are quick to forgive - after a few generations we forget why we hated that group to begin with. Thank you for reading.
