Agreed, but Lucy has worked hard to stay off the grid, especially Arasaka’s grid. Being the host of an Arasaka party sounds like running into a train because you’re tired of running from it. Maybe she’ll just scarper

I wonder if David would have benefited from acting even more anti-D. He could’ve blamed the megabuilding being hit by the swarm missiles on D, which would’ve put him squarely in favor with the cointel people But he’d also be making himself a target
