making a kpop inspired song (Patreon)

I thought I'd chronicle HOW THIS CAME TO BE because it's pretty dang cool.

I tweeted a while ago how my mom wanted me to make a song like NewJeans or some other bubbly kpop song (she's a huge stan, you should see her youtube shorts feed). An actual kpop song writer/producer saw it and reached out to me. From there I got acquainted with his friends, and we all got together and are currently working on a song based on an idea I had ("Jellyfish"). He also asked if I wanted to write some lyrics for another group, but that's a secret!! I'll only reveal if I get in the credits LOL.

It's been super cool and eye opening working with other songwriters. They're very good at what they do and modern songwriting is fascinating to me, because a lot of it is writing something up and giving it away to popular artists and groups. I totally see the appeal- I'd give up my left leg to write something for BTS or Joji.

Anyway these are placeholder vocals and a super super super rough draft with barebone instrumentals :D
