Pholt

I think that if you want to get over your apprehension of writing fight scenes, then writing a new story (perhaps even in the same universe) could help with that. What I think I failed to communicate properly in my comment on the other chapter is that most of the ppl here are probably people who enjoy slice of life, and the balance between action and slice of life that Junkyard Ship has. Therefore, asking this audience whether they would be interested in a different story with much more action is kinda predetermined to get a lukewarm response at best. I'd imagine you'd get a different response if you asked the same question on RR, where the audience did not self-select to the same degree it did on Patreon. Furthermore, on RR you'd also have a much easier time attracting a different kind of audience, people who enjoy lots of action. That may or may not translate to more Patreon subs even. At the end of the day, I think you should go with your heart, and write / publish (or don't) for yourself first, and the audience second.
