The reaction of the A-grades present in the auction halls was swift as they all exploded with power and rushed the stage. Two massive explosions of poison gas from the father and daughter pair obscured the stage, and when a mid-tier A-grade blew away the poison cloud with a powerful skill, it was revealed that the Eye of the Magus was gone.

These two explosions had caught many of those in the first few rows in the blast, sending them flying back into walls, with several of the weaker ones already dead before they even hit it. The entire hall was in absolute pandemonium, which only helped the Viper, who was currently lying face down with a decaying corpse on top of him.

After the second explosion, he had quickly taken the Eye of the Magus before using the poison cloud to disguise himself among the dead. The roughly dozen A-grades who’d gone down to the stage looked around before one of them said something to the others. A few of them looked to disagree with whatever the man said, but seeing as the one originally speaking was the strongest among them, Jake reckoned he didn’t listen.

In the next moment, all the other A-grades teleported away, leaving just the one powerful A-grade behind. He looked around the room as his voice echoed.

“I assume the culprit is still here… so let us check.”

Jake saw the Viper’s eyes open wide for a moment as the A-grade summoned a ball of pure white flames. In the very next instant, it exploded, consuming the whole hall and the entire city district in an instant.

The Malefic Viper didn’t seem to have any other good choice as he clicked his tongue right before scales covered his entire body, warding off the flames. When the flames subsided, all that remained were two figures floating over a massive pit with glass walls created from the intense heat.

“So it was you,” the mid-tier A-grade said as he looked at the Malefic Viper. He was a mage wearing a white robe and with a bushy beard extending down to his stomach, with his power naturally speaking for itself. “I did think something was off about you, but I didn’t expect this.”

“You also struck me as the cunning sort,” the Viper said, peeling off a few overly-damaged scales. “Though I must say, I didn’t see the City Lord burning down his own city.”

The City Lord shook his head and briefly glanced below him. “Did you expect me to move and save the citizens?”

“Well, I figured there was a chance you would,” the Malefic Viper shrugged. “If you had, we both could have saved a lot of effort and wouldn’t have had to take unnecessary risks.”

“How long have we known each other, Jabaliah? Though of course, I now doubt that’s truly your name,” the City Lord asked.

“We’ve never known each other, oh dear City Lord,” the Malefic Viper merely smiled.

“How about that woman of yours? Didn’t you spend over a decade with her? Was it truly all just a ruse for this day?” the City Lord said, looking exhausted at the notion.

“No, no, you misunderstand; that was just part of the cover story,” the Malefic Viper said, shaking his head. “I decided on this place due to the availability of resources. You so-called enlightened love your trade, and I must admit I also find myself a fan. I had planned on staying here for another few decades more, but after becoming aware of the Eye of the Magus, the temptation to burn this life was simply too much to bear. My choice of the Golden Road Emporium’s director was originally chosen because it would give me easier access to the merchants, but proved highly valuable indeed.”

The City Lord looked at the Viper with disgust. “Referring to enlightened like that… a monster disguising itself as one of us, huh?”

“I was one of you for a little time,” the Viper shook his head. “I can be an exemplary citizen when I need to be, as long as you don’t tempt me to give up that life. Because when I’m tempted, then yes, it’s back to being a monster once more.”

“Lies, you would never have left willingly without leaving anything but destruction in your wake,” the City Lord scoffed. “It’s not my first time dealing with a beast like you.”

“Now that’s just you being prejudiced and hurtful,” the Viper said, acting all hurt. “Also, I’m wondering here… I know why I’m doing it, but why are you keeping this conversation going to buy time?”

The City Lord didn’t even look surprised as he smiled. “To make sure you wouldn’t get away.”

Right as he said this, large pillars of energy erupted in all the cardinal directions. Screens of light quickly formed between them before a massive spherical barrier surrounded this entire piece of the planet.

The Viper looked surprised for a second as he looked at the mage. “You-“

“Also happen to be the World Leader,” the mage’s smile deepened. “And I had fully expected something to happen during this auction. I heard rumors that someone was aiming for the Eye of the Magus, and the trap was truthfully prepared for them, but I guess catching you instead isn’t all too bad.”

“See, that makes a lot of sense,” the Viper slowly nodded as he glanced around. “Certainly explains things.”

As he said this, more A-grades teleported in, having likely been the ones to set up the formation initially. There were thirteen others at the A-grade level, with two additional individuals besides the City Lord at the mid-tier A-grade level.

They all surrounded the Malefic Viper, seemingly giving him no way to escape. Jake, who was experiencing all of this, had numerous thoughts about the events that had unfolded so far. Villy’s betrayal of the beastkin woman and her father was something he would address later, but looking at the situation, it seemed almost too sloppy.

Sure, the Viper would likely just use his version of Wings and use its escape function to exit the barrier and get away with the Eye of the Magus, but if that was the plan, why even allow them to set up the barrier in the first place?

No… Jake guessed there was more to the Viper’s plan than this.

The City Lord didn’t look interested in speaking anymore as he summoned a staff to his hand and pointed it towards the Viper. “I would ask you for the Eye of the Magus back… but I can just take it off your corpse.”

His staff exploded with magic as the sky above the planet was consumed in flames. All the other A-grades also made their move, forcing the Viper to do the same as he unleashed his own aura, finally also revealing to Jake how powerful the Malefic Viper was at this stage in his life.

Villy had clearly reached A-grade, but he was still far below the level of the City Lord and several of the other A-grades present. In fact, only one of them seemed to be lower level than the Viper, but did all that truly matter?

Because, although the Malefic Viper was at a lower level… he was also a True Dragon.

The humanoid visage was torn apart as the Viper’s body grew manifold instantly, the magic of the ranged attacks searing across his glistening dark green scales. In the blink of an eye, he had turned from a humanoid form to his full dragon form.

Dark green scales covered his entire body, with spikes still protruding from his spine. His two wings were massive, with the webbing seemingly glowing with a toxic light as the Malefic Viper spread them out and let out a deafening roar.

A shockwave sent several of the A-grades reeling back, giving the Viper a chance to attack. Numerous wisps of magic filled the air, forming hundreds of small magic circles that each unleashed magic upon the A-grade attackers with reckless abandon.

At the same time, the Viper also physically went for the mage wearing white, who was apparently also the World Leader. He swept down his claws, but the mage was ready as he swept up his staff, summoning a crescent wave of pure white flames that swept up and recoiled the Viper’s blow.

With his free hand, the mage pushed forward, making the air vibrate and shimmer around him as a massive shockwave of pure force slammed into the Malefic Viper, sending the large dragon tumbling for a moment from the sheer impact.

Pretty strong, Jake noted, though he knew that the mage was ultimately not capable of facing the Viper at all. This became extra clear after the Viper unleashed even more magic, with it quickly becoming clear that only the three mid-tier A-grades even stood a chance at fighting the True Dragon.

Even then, they quickly started struggling, making Jake question once more why the Viper had bothered with this entire scenario in the first place. He was clearly stronger than they, yet he’d plotted and schemed when he could have presumably just gone into dragon form and crashed the auction.

Jake continued to consider this as the battle progressed. Unsurprisingly, the entire city below had been leveled within only a few short blows, and it didn’t even take long before everything besides the A-grades within the massive spherical barrier was obliterated, leaving just a wide open space for them to fight.

From his estimates, this massive barrier was roughly the size of the moon, but even then, it nearly felt too small for A-grades to battle within. Moreover, as the battle went on, it was clear that this barrier proved itself more of a detriment than a boon for the A-grades trying to take down the dragon.

The World Leader was a powerful mage who tried to make use of the relatively limited space to burn the Malefic Viper, but he’d clearly not known he was facing a True Dragon, for if he’d known, he’d have realized how stupid a plan that was.

Dragons were legendarily resistant to magic, and based on the World Leader knowing the Viper was a dragon merely by seeing him, he reckoned these A-grades also knew. Speaking of the A-grades, Jake only noticed now that every one of them, besides one – someone Jake believed was the leader of the security team – was a mage of various kinds. Not very surprising, considering they had come to bid on an item called Eye of the Magus.

Soon enough, seemed to finally realize what Jake had known all along. While they were certainly putting up a good fight, with the Viper having failed to kill any of them off quite yet, they were all slowly being whittled down.

The barrier also proved to be a significant problem, as it allowed the toxic fumes released by the Malefic Viper to spread within, making it impossible to avoid being poisoned. Knowing they were in a losing battle, many turned towards the World Leader.

While Villy and thus Jake couldn’t hear what they spoke out as they communicated telepathically, something was clearly wrong as signs of panic appeared on the World Leader’s face. The other A-grades started to look toward the mage wearing white with frustration, but soon enough, this frustration turned to worry, before becoming full-on panic.

Finally, the World Leader addressed the situation directly, and as he unleashed a torrent of flames that would likely be able to burn planet Earth to a crisp, he yelled at the dragon, who merely summoned a barrier to defend while relying on his scales for anything that managed to get through.

“What have you done! Why is-“

“You shouldn’t ignore rumors,” the Malefic Viper said as he unleashed a quick counterattack while he spoke in a mocking tone. “Perhaps the worry you felt was real… and there indeed was someone else aiming for the Eye of the Magus. As they say, great minds think alike, and I found a like-minded fellow.”

Taking further advantage of the amplified despair his words created, the Malefic Viper managed to land his first kill only a moment later, slaying one of the weaker A-grades. At this point in history, Jake reckoned that the death of A-grades was a rare thing; at least it seemed to have a major impact on the others when they saw him die.

Some tried to negotiate, some tried to escape, while a few tried to still fight. However, with their cohesion broken, the Malefic Viper’s rampage picked up speed as the A-grades were slain one by one.

Several also tried to break the barrier sealing them in, but it appeared utterly indestructible, no matter what they threw at it. When the Malefic Viper unleashed a Dragon’s Breath to slay the World Leader, even that was blocked, though it did look like the Viper purposefully pulled his punch a bit to ensure the barrier’s integrity.

With the most powerful combatant dead, it was only a cleanup job from there. One after another, the dozen or so A-grades were slain by the single dragon, and in the end, they barely even managed to do any damage to the Malefic Viper. As a group of mages, they had faced the apex of magic and been found lacking.

However, Jake still had many questions. Why did the Viper set up this entire situation? He could guess that the Viper had wanted to kill all the A-grades and had made use of the barrier to do so, but why? Sure, he would get some experience points for it, but Jake seriously doubted that was all. It couldn’t be about witnesses either, as the Viper was clearly an expert at disguising himself. Finally, this was a vision related to Palate of the Malefic Viper, right? Because Jake sure as shit hadn’t seen anything related to that skill yet. Plenty of other Legacy skills, but not the one he’d actually come here for.

There was also the fact that this was a high-Record fragment that had consumed two uses of Path of the Heretic-Chosen, and Jake had seen the fight between the Malefic Viper and Valdemar last time he did that. He would be lying if he hadn’t expected more grand revelations, and while it was interesting to hear that the Golden Road Emporium was around all the way back in the first era, this all still felt lacking.

So many questions… but it seemed that he would get at least a few of them answered very soon.

Even after the last of the A-grades were dead, the barrier didn’t disappear. Instead, a single figure appeared to have teleported in to stand atop the barrier. It was a male figure of some kind, but not one Jake immediately recognized.

“Keep the barrier active for now and let it drop at my signal,” the Malefic Viper said, the hooded figure standing atop the barrier giving him a quick nod before teleporting away again.

In the next moment, the Malefic Viper took a deep breath, and at least Jake had reached the part of the vision he’d been waiting for. Time seemed to slow down, and Jake’s senses merged with the Viper’s as he felt everything. The Records of Palate of the Malefic Viper within him seemed to stir and resonate with those of the Viper, Jake actively feeling the parts that had been broken being replaced at a slow rate.

At that moment, Jake understood what the would-be Primordial was about to do before he even did it, giving him time to mentally prepare as the Malefic Viper proceeded to do what the Palate of the Malefic Viper’s flavor text kept talking about:

Devoured the world.

A planet is probably a pretty potent alchemical ingredient I'd imagine

Ha! Freaking awesome. And relevant considering the part of a world in Jake's own tumtum

WOOOOOOO GO VİLLY! The devourer of worlds! Oh wait isn't that what Jake was trying anyway? He was trying to eat the world column no?

Blutako

Thank you for the chapter zogarth

Violet

Nooooo I have to wait a few days nowww, Tftc!

Loststar7

Thanks for the chapter and happy Friday. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I guess one step above snacking on the world crystal is just snacking on the world itself lmao

Now we gotta wait till Monday

Considering the way he is writing these chapters I feel like we might be waiting for tuesday to find out the palate and meditate upgrades XD

Happy Friday folks, thank you for the good week Zogarth : )

Buddy was hungry or smth?

Ghast Renave

Thanks for the chapter!

Tyftc!

Sergej Fel

Villy is just a nom-nommer.

Clint

Oh. Wow. That never occurred to me. Of course the way to fix Jake’s Palate skill is to upgrade it to where it is strong enough to consume the world core that he got caught in his throat.

Abcras Shadow

I should have known, no catharsis it is Friday after all. Stinky stinky Friday.

Yiskah

Villy is going to eat the world core and show Jake how it's done!

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Rewdan

How do you eat a planet 🪐 1 big bite with palate.

Jason Hardman

TYFTC! So he really wanted the world leader gone. Some edit suggestions: Unsurprisingly, the entire city was below had been leveled within only a few short blows, -> the entire city below Soon enough, seemed to finally realize what Jake had known all along -> Soon enough, they seemed to finally realize

Rewdan

I wonder what Villy had for dessert?

Rewdan

Thanks for week’s reading Zogarth.

Rewdan

I knew the cliffhanger was coming but this still hits hard 😯

Jason

Fyi, I searched it out. At least for the original Legendary version of the skill, the description ends with: Through endless consumption, may your power grow; through gluttony, may your Records expand as you devour the world.

Kevin Hargett

Devour the WORLD?! What?! Cliffhanger! Gah dang!

Flydogfly55

Divide rank skill I'm guessing at peak c grade

Naotani

Ok, maybe I'm missing something, but... since when is Villy a True Dragon? I thought True Dragons were born as B-Grades but he's originally a snake, isn't he? I get that he evolved to a dragon with B-Grade but does that make him a True Dragon?

Zizawah

For anyone trying to look up the description of the skill: [Palate of the Malefic Viper (Legendary)] - The Malefic Viper has honed its venom by devouring myriad toxins and treasures found throughout the multiverse. In the same vein, the Alchemist of the Malefic Viper can consume toxins to learn their effects and properties. Further evolved, you can now also learn the properties of herbs while at the same time enjoying a greater benefit from all potions consumed. Natural treasures can be swallowed and refined at an accelerated pace using your current level of Touch of the Malefic Viper (Legendary). If the item is not a toxin, the item will still be refined but at a slower pace. Allows you to learn the properties of any treasure in your stomach as you slowly refine it. Allows the Alchemist to fully consume a swallowed item, destroying it in the process if possible. If the item cannot be destroyed or the result of its destruction is too violent, the Alchemist will suffer a backlash, and the internal space will be damaged. Grants immunity or resistance to most poisons. Passively provides 9 Endurance per level in Heretic-Chosen Alchemist of the Malefic Viper (C-grade variant). Through endless consumption, may your power grow; through gluttony, may your Records expand as you devour the world.

Jason

I think he may the original True Dragon. There's a reason they all have "stromoz" on the end of their names. Also, you can evolve into a True Dragon as you progress. I think Helen is a True-Dragon-to-be.

Chris Connolly

Never occurred to me how similar that paths of the viper and the boundless hydra were. Now makes more sense the boundless hydra would feel such synergy with a path like like vipers when he can literally consume worlds

Oooooh! Thanks for the chapter!

BumAssBumAss

Dam, we don't even get to see palate upgraded this week. Last time Jake used two charges of the path of the heretic chosen, he upgraded fangs of Man and fangs of the Malefic Viper. I wonder if Jake will get more than just palate this time.

Roy Boy Meyer

With the upgraded Palate + with the desolation core inside, he will be able to somehow effect, absorb or influence his surroundings lika an expanded domain? or absorb mage powers of the true dragon?

Namorat

A few too many errors to mention all. Cool chapter anyway and nice to have it mentioned explicitly how the emporium is surprisingly that old.

Kyle Stitt

Thank u for the story

TFTC :) Suggested edits: "*The* roughly *a* dozen A-grades" ditch one or the other both together sounds weird. "consuming the *entire* hall and the *entire* city district" repetitive. I would suggest ditching the first instance. "but why are you keeping this conversation going ** to buy time?”" missing "?" “Also *happens* to be the World Leader,” should be "happen" "beastkin woman and her father *some* something he would address later," should be "was" " the entire city *was* below had been leveled" extra word "more of a *demerit* than a boon" should be "detriment" "while a few *still* tried to *still* fight. " repetition. Ditch the second.

Dragon

This will also be beneficial since the last thing Jake ate was part of a world core, before he had even broken the skill and it’s still stored in the sub space

Daniel Brian

Vilas: Mmmmm... That's one tasty lookin' planet... I think I'll live there for a decade...then eat it.

Miotara

I wonder if that like minded fellow that Villy found and we saw at the end is Aeon. I think Villy did call him a friend at some point and they do seem to get along well in the present

Ty Cooper

Lol dang week of cliffhangers. Monday is so far away. Love the chapters of this week. They were just too good and I just keep wanting more. Tftc!

Fyrtue

Who is the mystery man? Daofather, Eversmile, somebody new? I must know...CURSE YOU WEEKEND!!! Seriously though my bet is the Daofather because of the meditation upgrade timing.

Gabe Stankiewicz

God DAMN last chapter ended insanely cool and this one too!!! Thank you for the chapter Zogarth! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Leviathan

Makes sense villy had devoured a few planets in his youth. Especially when you consider that towards peak B Grade and beyond, records mean everything. So having a planet that clearly had a lot of records from the number of C, B, and A grades, including some possible remnant records left from system events; yea villy would definitely eat a few planets in his lifetime

Clint

Seems unlikely to be a primordial — I think only Villy and Valdemar should be alive before the two of them are in S grade.

Mrburns93

So villy has a very predictable fighting style. Sneak in, be exposed, be locked into a trap, kill everyone inside. Rinse repeat and profit.

JW Saxby

😃 Wow! 🤩 Tyftc 🍻

Law

Quick lunch for Villy

Andyr98

To be fair most traps he walks in knowing it's a trap but knowing his prey is trapped as well he is the ultimate im not trapped here with you, you a trapped in here with me

brjenness

So villy devouring people for records is just pallat , not some hidden transcendent skill.

NinjaDad

Oh my Villy these cliffhangers should be classified as a form of torture! Tyftc Zog.

Boomer

Or perhaps the never before seen mid way point rank between divine and mythical. I'm all most certain it exists.

Bobo

Thank you!

Ben Cox

I knew Villy was doing some peaceful bartering. It was a very fruitful deal of I get the world and the eye of magnus and you get to die for my progress. A stellar deal that 10/10 Minagas would recommend. Tyftc

Demi

You thought Villy was here for some paltry magic shmagic eye? Think again. Danger noodle be devouring the whole damn world.

Sushi

Kinda interested in Villy’s current perspective on dating a girl for a decade before betraying her.

Adam Taylor

No clue why I didn't think about him devouring planets before. Especially when a planet's "records" have been mentioned countless times. I wonder how good of a snack earth's would be

Siethrobo

He'd do it if it were necessary for advancement, but it's not anymore. Apparently the best thing for him advancing was making Jake his chosen (and eating a god above godking).

Siethrobo

He definitely used a transcendent skill on Yip, but that was more the cooking part of the meal, digestion was probably a 'true' level pallette.

Spencer Miller

Given that Jake’s Palate is more about learning about and nurturing treasures than Villy’s Record-consumption-focused version, I’m curious how this will influence Jake’s Palate. The most obvious option would be scale. Jake could really benefit from being able to take ever-more-arbitrary things into his Palate. A secondary option would be that, by doing this while at the “Concept Wellspring”, he is able to realign his Palate with the Viper’s, enabling the consumption of Records. A third option could be something akin to Palate acting as proper large-scale storage, letting him stick earth in there, or remove the collateral damage from his upcoming dragon fight. I don’t love any of these, though, so hopefully it’ll be a surprise.

tigerfishie

TYFTC! I’m gonna go ponder this as I work on my thesis paper today 🫩

brjenness

Don't call it a cliffhanger. We've been here for days. LL Cool Z Only thing left on this cliff is the descriptions that some of us don't even read. Rotate the camera and stand up, there's a dragon up on top of that wall of granite over there.

Lemonsqueezy

An expected cliff-hanger, but not one I expected. The cliff-hanger is what state Jake will be in when he leaves the vision and comes back to reality. As well as the upgrades he will have from the system. Looking at this it seems Zog might upgrade mediate and fix palate in one go. I am assuming that this event will also grant him several levels, but where exactly? There is some combat elements in this arc with the Villas battle, but to me this seems to be more in the alchemy of the chosen-heretic area. Maybe we get a few levels in each, probably pushing Jake's profession to the max for C-Grade. Then killing a True Dragon being the push to max out his combat levels. The rest of the story should be Jake spending time upgrading his skills to Mythical and finally upgrading to B-Grade. Then we get to move on to the anticipated "Seat of the Exalted Prima" arc. Which might be less involved than I originally thought, with the introduction of the elusive group that tried to kidnap Jake. Maybe the two arcs will be intertwined. I am not sure though, because this would be too similar to the whole Yip of Yore arc.

Lemonsqueezy

I didn't think of it either, and it has been stated a few times that Villas has consumed planets several times before for their records. In fact, it has been stated that nearly all high level beasts consume planet cores (even entire star systems) for levels.

brjenness

I agree on everything except it being a cliffhanger. We're standing on a ridgeline looking at all the possible cliffs to climb next and can see the spots we'll be left dangling from next

Sébastien Kingsbury

I'd bet he already has one of the eyes from the system event itself or just doesn't need it and is trading it with whoever the guy outside the portal is for his help

ABTelford

I loved this chapter!!! Thank you for sone awesome Villy action, Zogarth! 😎🐉there are More typographical/grammatical errors than usual, but I trust the editors. Thanks! And enjoy the weekend!

Austin Byrd

Was there anything slipped in about why the planet was so juicy? Feels like I might have missed some hint in the last two chapters

DirePants

I mean it’s been there the whole time yet I didn’t see it lol I guess I never took devouring the world as literal. Foolish me lol

Vega

Villy (kinda) farming enlighteneds as a parallel to Jake farming beasts for exp. Great chapter, thanks.

Spitball

Dear Zog Slightly poor form to keep your loyal subscribers waiting. Dragging it on for several days belittles your persona. That is how you lose followers not gain them. S

Zizawah

A story should be told in a manner that suited the overall narrative and personally I don’t see Zogarth stretching out this arc. Even if he wishes to stretch it out it is his story and his choice. We are here to enjoy it piecemeal which I admit can be agonizing at times but overall incredibly satisfying.

Naotsugu97

Wow! Ambitious! I’m just planning on eating the rich! 🤑 😂

James Davis

I wonder if the hooded figure is Eversmile? This could be the start of their frienemies relationship if villy made a deal to get the eye for eversmile in exchange for the rest of the world just to turn around shaft him after the work is done

Richard Loveless

It feels like ever chapter this week was a cliff hanger. Not that that's a bad thing.

joel southard

Thank you for the chapter

Steven Ramey

Does anybody remember if Jake talked to Irin after he returned with his elf goddess girlfriend? Just curious how that would play out and I don't remember reading it.

Connor

Thanks for the chapter

Death56

Ok he may be a piece of shit but that's kinda awesome

Nate

Eversmile was my first thought here too

Kenneth Welever

Silly question and off topic but whenever Jake attempts to add poison to all his splitting arrows he fails in the upgrade. Why has he never thought of using the act of drawing a splitting arrows from his quiver to just unstably merge as many arrows as he wants to 'split' so he essentially fires a bunch of arrows at once and they split back to their original number after firing?

Alexandre8901

A cliff week, next week revelations week and stat overview :)

Trumangolorian

Hell yeah we see him devouring a whole world like Jake sort of tried with the tiny fragments of desolation. Tyftc

Hunter

Yeah Villy is an absolute monster but also that was awesome. Jake has already destroyed a world himself at C grade so….

Mike

I don't believe he ever tried that, so you are saying take like 10 poisoned arrows and get them to temporarily merge for a shot then in the air or at target split back to origin. That sounds doable if he can get them to merge it would at least not be matter/record creation which was the supposed problem with poison on split arrows. Though shadow of PH does kinda ignore this rule since his split shadow will keep poison on the shadow arrow

HoresKnight

Question: Has Jake ever thought of doing the opposite of a Hemotoxic poison? Like instead of it thinning the blood, it clots it. Or even a poison that is cancerous. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the main part of the poison but can act like a small catalyst to the main poison.

Ira Smith

Monday where you at..... loved the chapter

Blutako

That would be pretty dope but im pretty sure Jake is almost at the point where poison that doesn't also effect the soul won't do too much, but yeah imagine a poison that focuses itself in major junctions and clots itself, imagine if he could make a poison that attacks the heart and just clots all the blood around it, actually i think it was mentioned that the heart always stays because its tied to the sould so in the future could a poison that essentially traps you in your soul exist, and actually I think that was vaguely mentioned that villy had a method to trap gods in their soul realm which is actually insane, like sure you can't kill them unless you go in there, but you can essentially just keep the supply coming and trap a god for eternity right? Eventually they would be weak enough you could beat them

Tristan Lewis

Jake still has that world core in him right?

Nano

Facts this level of cliffhanging should be illegal

Sarianne

Have a nice weekend and don't fall off the cliff we're left hanging on 😅

Previously did dungeons with William and fire archer, but didn't get to do much because she and William were to op. Nephew is a possibility, but he would probably be in nevermore if he had reached c grade. And he probably didn't have any events to boost him to c grade. Sylphie's parents? Troll kids? Carpenter's kids from Miranda's party? Mini-Minagas?

Carl Never

The girls from pol is my bet but if its nephew id be real happy

Victory Holcomb

Any chance the First Sage became the Exalted Prima?

Zogarth

Fixed stuff. But... what do you mean by this: "but why are you keeping this conversation going ** to buy time?”" missing "?" There already was a questionmark at the end?

DrReverseCallout

Is anyone else very interested in how Villy developed this Palate skill in the 1st era, where the system didn’t really help with anything, and there were no defined paths? How in gods green earth did Villy figure out a way to shrink something like a planet down to something he can ingest? The concepts behind that must be insane, and the system didn’t have a predetermined path he could follow to help him. He had to hand craft that skill, and I’m sure it was more than several skills that were conjoined to create it

Xerecs

All beasts have the ability to consume natural treasures. I view palate as an upgrade to that ability.

beeve

where are we at with the puzzle box
