From deep within the Malefic Viper, Jake felt the internal stomach of Palate stir. Instantly, he knew that the Malefic Viper’s capacity far surpassed Jake’s own, which naturally wasn’t a mistake, seeing as one was comparing an A and a C-grade, but the difference still struck Jake as stark.

With time slowed, Jake felt the Malefic Viper open up the channel connecting the stomach and the real world, something that instantly struck Jake as odd, but he quickly guessed that the Viper planned on consuming something nearby, even if Jake couldn’t detect anything.

Unlike Jake, the Viper wasn’t limited to only one item in his Palate stomach. Jake could detect several objects of significant power, but the only one in there he could get a good feel for was the Eye of the Magus that the would-be snake god had naturally already devoured.

As Jake was still wondering what the Viper planned to do, he got his answer. With the channel open, the Viper began to breathe in, not targeting anything specific. Rather than focus on a single item, he simply devoured the mana in the air, something that felt incredibly simplistic at first.

However, as the Viper continued, Jake realized he was doing so much more than that. Within the barrier established by the World Leader and now controlled by the Viper’s comrade, the future Primordial devoured everything that had been sealed within… including the remnants of the many A-grades who’d died.

Jake felt a massive influx of Records into Palate’s internal stomach in the very next moment. These Records took the form of something Jake was particularly sensitive to right now, as he realized what the Viper was truly trying to consume were the concepts lingering in the air.

When powerful beings fought, it left traces behind. Remnants of power in the form of energy and concepts. Often, the combination of the two was simply referred to as concepts. Energy of all affinities had inherent concepts, which Jake had started to uncover a long time ago, such as dark mana’s desire to devour other mana types or life mana’s desire to cause growth.

The concept-infused energy left after the death of the powerful was far more complex and potent than that normally lingering in the air. These concepts profoundly affected the world, sometimes creating entirely new domains that other monsters found beneficial; however, it often resulted in the land being corrupted.

This was something Jake knew, but he also knew that the energy left behind was pretty universally agreed upon to be useless for most people. Sure, it could create holy grounds for monsters to grow stronger, but this was a result of the system slowly purifying and releasing the energy and Records into the environment.

There were also rare rituals and formations that could make use of this lingering energy, but in most cases, it wasn’t something anyone even thought about. At most, the people who killed a powerful being would seek to purify the area to make sure none of the energy of the dead lingered.

One very prominent example of this was the wars between the Risen and the Holy Church. If a powerful undead died, they would naturally leave behind lingering concepts of death, while if a member of the Holy Church died, they would leave behind remnants of holy energy. Both factions would seek to purify any territory they conquered to avoid the other faction’s energy lingering, as it would create a less-than-ideal land for members of the Holy Church to live in an area filled with the death affinity.

Armed with all this knowledge, Jake could only wonder what the Malefic Viper’s plan was as he began to devour the energy left by the many dead A-grades. Instantly, as Villy began dragging it in, Jake knew that the Viper couldn’t actually absorb this energy in any way.

All the “useful” Records were already given to the Malefic Viper when he got the kills, and the Truesouls had long dispersed, and while he did consume some remnants left by the souls of the slain, what he did devour wasn’t anything that seemed particularly potent or useful.

However, as the Viper continued to devour everything, Jake sensed that he wasn’t even trying to absorb any of it. He was merely digesting it internally and storing it there.

Soon enough, he was done consuming everything within the barrier, but Jake felt that the Viper wasn’t satisfied yet. While he couldn’t detect the would-be Primordial’s thoughts, he could get a vague feeling of what the dragon intended as his eyes opened wide right as the Viper gave a command to his comrade.

“Release the barrier.”

The cloaked figure didn’t even appear, and nothing detectable to Jake happened, but in the very next second, the entire barrier shattered like a mirror. Predictably so, all the fragments of this barrier were instantly sucked in by the A-grade Viper as the dragon looked downwards and opened his maw even wider.

His body seemed to explode with power as Jake felt the Malefic Viper unleash Palate at an even higher level, as the scope of the consumption was expanded. The planet below was instantly affected, but to his surprise, the Viper wasn’t sucking in any of the physical objects, such as the dense rock of the crust below. He didn’t even seek to consume much mana anymore, but only took in the bare minimum to get what he truly wanted:

Concepts.

Jake watched on in silence as the world around him slowly changed. Below, the rock started to lose its color as the air also turned black and white. Like a vacuum of color and life, the Malefic Viper dragged in everything, leaving nothing behind as more and more of the planet was affected with every passing moment.

His scope just kept expanding until soon the entire planet was affected. Jake felt countless concepts entering the internal stomach, many of them recognizable, but the vast majority beyond his comprehension, in part because he couldn’t even try to comprehend them.

The Viper wasn’t trying to either. He was still just storing everything as the planet died. While Jake couldn’t see it, he knew that by the end, no life could exist there anymore. To clarify, the Viper wasn’t actually killing anything. Palate didn’t have any true offensive capabilities but could only consume environmental energies. However, with everything else gone, the Malefic Viper left behind only one thing:

Desolation.

Within mere minutes, the entire planet had become desolate, with not a single being capable of stopping the future snake god. Even the World Core had everything consumed, unable to stand up to the might of an A-grade, especially not after the World Leader had already fallen.

Yet even after seeing this, Jake had one massive question: why?

Why engage in such an act of grand consumption? He had absorbed so much useless energy, and it wasn’t as if he could even try to understand all the concepts he tried to absorb. Moreover, the vast majority of these concepts were of such a mundane level that they wouldn’t even have been able to benefit a D-grade.

Nothing made sense… until the Malefic Viper closed his mouth and stopped the process of consumption and began the digestion.

With his maw closed, the channel between the internal stomach and the external world was severed, and all the passive aspects of the stomach could kick into effect once more. The first one was an effect very much reminiscent of a passive acceleration of time; however, the second one was what truly caught Jake’s attention.

As with Jake’s own version of Palate – before he accidentally broke it anyway - the Malefic Viper could use Touch to refine the items he’d consumed. However, what the Viper did wasn’t to directly try and refine the items, but instead he sought to only speed up and amplify one aspect of all the natural treasures he’d consumed:

Their ability to absorb environmental energies.

Once Jake felt this, everything the Viper had done suddenly made sense. The Malefic Viper knew he couldn’t use all of these concepts himself. He knew they were useless to him, which was why he didn’t want to actually consume them at all.

No, instead, he absorbed it all to create an environment for the many treasures to feast and grow more powerful. Especially one of the treasures he’d recently consumed was eating really good, namely the Eye of the Magus.

The Malefic Viper had consumed Records in the form of concepts deployed by a dozen powerful A-grade mages, and now the Eye of the Magus was absorbing all of these to make itself even stronger.

What made this particularly genius was that the Malefic Viper wasn’t actually doing anything himself. He wasn’t directing these powerful items to do anything. Instead, he had their own system-provided abilities do the job for him, removing all risk. If he’d tried to control the process, there was a high risk of corrupting these incredibly potent natural treasures, but with this approach, he would only benefit.

About a minute passed as the Malefic Viper finished setting everything up, even isolating the Eye of the Magus a little to allow it to absorb as many of the beneficial concepts as it possibly could without any of the other treasures being allowed to take anything.

Jake knew that most of what the Viper had consumed had indeed been useless. Only a small fraction of what he’d devoured would actually do anything, while the rest would be expelled or slowly devoured by Palate over time, being turned into resources for the Viper.

However, all of that was for later. For now, the Malefic Viper had a long period of digestion ahead of him, as all the items would take time to properly absorb all the new nutrients. Jake also realized that if the Viper so desired, he could also try to refine some of the items with express intent and then use all of these lingering environmental concepts and energies to help the process, but Jake quickly stopped himself from going down this lane of thinking.

For now, it was far more important that he dedicated all his attention to learning how the skill actually worked, rather than focusing on the benefits he could gain after it had become part of his repertoire.

Right after Jake had these thoughts, time rewound until he was back to the Malefic Viper, beginning his devouring process. It started the same way, with the hooded figure on top of the barrier as the Viper spoke:

“Keep the barrier active for now and let it drop at my signal.”

After the figure teleported away, Jake only had time to confirm that this person was male for sure, but besides that useless thought, he dedicated all his focus to comprehending Palate, and to be honest… it was surprisingly easy.

The first time around, Jake already got a great understanding of what the purpose of this upgrade was and how it worked. He didn’t doubt that this extreme level of clarity came in part due to what he’d done just before entering the vision.

Right now, his body and soul were flush with countless concepts and thus Records. The system had stabilized Jake’s mind, allowing him to experience the vision, which enabled him to understand the concepts already rushing through his being. The ones that pertained to this Palate upgrade, anyway.

As Jake’s second round of the vision came to an end, he began to truly feel the skill within his Soulspace take form. The Records that had been corrupted or lost were rapidly being replaced as the parts of the system the Malefic Viper had purposefully deactivated and broken to stabilize Jake were being rebuilt from the ground up with the perfect Records of the system.

Halfway through the third round of the minor time loop, Jake finally heard something he’d been waiting for: the sound of a system upgrade. He knew he wasn’t done yet, but he still checked the upgrade with glee as relief flooded his mind.

[Palate of the Malefic Viper (Legendary)] --> [Palate of the Malefic Viper (Legendary)]

The upgrade was borderline non-existent. A few parts of the description had been changed, but overall it was roughly the same Palate as Jake had broken way back then. At that moment, Jake also felt the connection to his internal stomach get reestablished, which allowed him to truly begin comprehending the actual upgrade this vision was building towards.

Jake had already been working on it before, but now he could truly dedicate his entire mind as Palate had been fully repaired at last. Soon enough, he had experienced the Malefic Viper’s usage of the skill half a dozen times, but he kept not pushing for the upgrade, as Jake wanted to take in as much as he possibly could.

After the seventh time, Jake felt like he could get the upgrade, but he still didn’t go for it. After the ninth, Jake began to feel signs that the vision was sadly soon coming to an end, and as the tenth began, he knew this would be the last one.

Thus, for the final time, Jake experienced as the Malefic Viper devoured the world and what remained of the A-grades that had once lived on it. In the process, he had naturally also consumed the concepts of all the weaker people who’d once lived there, alongside so much other crap that was entirely useless.

That was definitely the part Jake dedicated the most time to: the purification and filtering of all that was absorbed. The Malefic Viper didn’t need the curse energy that had inevitably been created from so many people dying. He let the items themselves figure out most of the filtering, but the Viper was forced to step in to isolate and eliminate everything that could potentially corrupt the many natural treasures.

In the end, definitely largely in part due to many concepts flooding his being, Jake succeeded when he sought to consolidate everything towards the end of the tenth and final time he experienced Palate of the Malefic Viper. With a calm mind, Jake felt the upgrade and quickly confirmed.

[Palate of the Malefic Viper (Legendary)] --> [Palate of the Malefic Viper (Mythical)]

However, he didn’t immediately check the updated description of the skill, as this was the last round of the vision. With that in mind, Jake believed that he would get an experience similar to what he had with Valdemar’s vision back in the day. Not that he would find inspiration, but that the vision would last a little longer.

Jake also highly suspected that part of the reason this was considered a High-Record fragment in the first place was due to this hooded figure’s presence. That, or the Eye of the Magus, was a far more important item than Jake first suspected, but in either case, he really wanted to know who this person was.

The Malefic Viper wasn’t exactly known as the trusting sort, so it would be very interesting to see who had managed to gain the future Primordial’s trust.

Just as Jake had predicted, when Jake reached the point where the vision would usually repeat, time instead kept going. The Viper floated far up in the air above the desolate planet below, no longer even bothering to regard it. Magic enveloped his form as he used Polymorph and re-assumed his humanoid shape.

Villy was breathing a little heavily, the entire ordeal having clearly taken a lot out of him. The Malefic Viper turned his head, and on cue, the robed figure teleported in exactly where the Viper was looking.

“Well, that went about as smoothly as it could,” the Viper said, regarding his comrade.

“Indeed,” the figure said with a raspy, slightly metallic voice as he moved his hands up and took down his hood, finally revealing what he looked like, and…

Yeah, Jake did not recognize the race of this robed figure at all. He couldn’t even tell if it was a monster or not, just that it was different from anything he knew. The robed figure did look humanoid, and if Jake had to compare him to one of the enlightened races, human was probably the closest, but this man was a lot more… robot.

His entire lower jaw was made of silvery metal, his eyes were robotic, and he had no hair, only small holes here and there. He didn’t even have ears, but instead, he had two metal plates on each side of his head. When he moved his hand earlier, Jake also saw that he didn’t have fingers, but instead, an odd, fluid metal where a hand would normally be.

Rather than a human, Jake thought this guy looked far more like a cyborg out of some sci-fi show or movie. A mix of technology and nature. For a second, Jake even considered whether he was an automaton, but that felt wrong, though Jake definitely could see some similarities.

“I trust that our deal still stands,” the robotic man spoke once more.

“Of course,” the future Primordial nodded. “I’ll glean some benefits and help empower the Eye of the Magus, after which we can conduct the trade.”

“Good,” the metal humanoid said, showing no real discernible facial expression. “We shall remember your assistance fondly and hope our partnership will continue to bring prosperity.”

“Hey, don’t even mention it,” the Viper said with a casual smile. “Besides, I should be the one thanking you. Who wouldn’t want a good relationship with the most powerful faction in the universe?”

My guess is the faction that created Rigoria the maker. They don't feel like automatons because they are the precurser.

Fascinating development

Rad

If I remember correctly Rigoria was made by some robot people and she broke free of their control and killed them all. So these guys are the pre-robot robots. If I’m remembering right and my brain is connecting things well.

IntenseSushi

Tftc probably Rigoria?

Mohammed Sheekh

It was stated in the side story mentioning the 12 primordials, that rigoria was created by the strongest race in the universe and villy just confirmed that, this person is most likely dead since rigoria sacrificed its entire species to become a god

TheDwiin

TYFTC! I think we've met the person who created Rigoria.

JW Saxby

Tyftc! 👍🏼😁🍻

Andrew P

Was this treasure used to create the being who would become the robot primordial? If so, did the viper influence it to kill its creators?

Alex

Nah, it’s probably Rigoria, the Primordial who created the Automata Legion.

Staudi

Tyyftc!

Cory S.

So GOOD!! Thank you for the chapter.

kandiana

Rigoria was created after several Primordials ascended, so kinda doubtful

djthomp

Interesting focus on the Viper using Palate to make an entire world desolate, considering that Jake's had that desolate world core fragment chilling in his broken version of Palate for ages. I assume that among other things he's going to come out of this with a much improved understanding of the concept of Desolation.

Kt-x

Thanks for the chapter! 🙂

Leviathan

The side story about the primordials from the perspective of a kid in the primordial church reading about their history. Likely rigoria's creator species

Rewdan

And many other concepts. Everything he does will be enhanced because of the concepts he’s absorbing

Rewdan

Thanks Zogarth great way to start the week.

Rewdan

I figure that Jake will be able to upgrade his archery skills and his arrows due to his increased understanding of concepts.

glutton 12

The altmar leader what was his name again the autarch? Or perhaps it's is grigoria the maker leader of the automaton faction

Devillelouch

"most powerful faction in the universe", unknown antagonist or fake out for the real enemy?

Solyom

This is definetly Rigoria. The Autarch of the Altmar Empire isn't a Primordial, and this guy is obviously automaton.

Chris

I think that’s a robot part of the automita faction.

Matt

This was a good one!

Demi

Hmmm...the most powerful faction in the universe before the Primordials became gods? Could this "missing" faction be the ones after Jake?

Ty Cooper

Tftc. Find it funny that we still dont know the upgrade details. Glad Jake finally got pallet fixed. Wondering how it all got upgraded. There are a lot of things that could be added to Jake's pallet after the Vision.

TKOva

Oh the Race that made Rigoria had a hidden god, and they want revenge on the primordial. And for the makers to be remade they need the origin energy.

Jerry Wieder

Enter Automata Legion?

Nairne

I bet at some point both are valid. Definitely not at A-grade...

Nairne

Next chapter ending as Jake wakes up or Artemis and Villy observe the results?

C0bra$

Thank u for the story

ABTelford

This chapter was GREAT!!! Edit: “ When powerful beings thought, it left traces behind.” Replace “thought” with “fought”. Looks like autocorrect goofed.

Spencer Miller

I don’t think this would work without a skill combination, which seems too risky for two top-tier legacy skills, but could Jake’s Meditate-based connection to the Concept Wellsprings passively nurture natural treasures as though they are in the best possible environment? I mean, if he’s gonna get a replacement Meditate upon reaching godhood, he might as well merge this one before then, barring exceptional circumstances. Note: I don’t think he should do this if it requires a merge, at least not right now. Maybe he can channel the concepts over while Meditating and only needs to refresh the environment occasionally.

Spencer Miller

As with nearly anything in the First Era, we only have the Primordials’ words on what happened most of the time. There could easily have been more than twelve gods. It would only need to be that only twelve survived the Era.

Abhishek

Villy also had a metallic staff.

Jason Hardman

TYFTC! Edit suggestion: such as dark mana’s desire to devour other mana times or life mana’s desire to cause growth. -> mana types Also I see others have picked up on "thought" vs "fought", which I didn't notice. Guess my brain just decided that 'concepts from powerful people thinking' was a thing. 😅

kaimen jones

Now that Jake’s palette is fixed we get to see what he gains from yip of yore’s remains also does anyone else think villy so going to turn on Jake one day

Miguel Sanchez

Not a chance. Although it has never been stated… The Viper LOVES Jake . Like the friend he never really had… like the little brother he didn’t know he needed or wanted… the blood lust he felt at the mere thought of someone doing his Chosen harm is enough to make the other Primordials fear his loss of control due to someone messing around with Jake.

Bjarne Hansen

What was her/his name? Gregoria/Grigoria? The autonoma primordial.

Phil Ritter

So we finally get a sneak peak into Rigorias creators. It’s not really surprising that they are cyborgs since they made Rigoria as their champion

Phil Ritter

Nope it’s the race that created Rigoria and was destroyed by her in the process. Considering Rigoria was build to compete with the first gods it’s unlikely for her to exist at this point in time

Harry Fitzsimmons

I was re listening to book 12 and I was wondering when we will get Tom’s backstory

Harry Fitzsimmons

And what ever happened to the Pilar of encumbrance

DirePants

Who ever the metal dude is Villy is going to betray him lol Or maybe it’s the beginning of the Automaton faction? Was there automaton primordial? I don’t think so 🤔. But I’m starting to wonder something. You’d make a lot of enemies on the way to the top. Maybe this hidden faction after Jake could be remnants of past enemies of the Primordials? Hoping to use Origin Energy to bring back some lost god? Maybe even the leader of a faction like the one mentioned in this chapter? Damn Zog! lol I’m glad this back to being part of my morning ritual! 💯 this is one of a very short list of stories where I often guess wrong on future events. I love it.

BumAssBumAss

Hopefully it jumps to at least legendary before it gets downgraded again. Jake is also really young for a c grade and hasn't had a time dilation training like he did with eternal shadow. I wonder when he is going to do thata dn what it would be for. Seems prime to come up next with meditation getting upgraded soon.

frotes

top faction of the first era, before the primordials!? this I gotta see

Henscratch

It would be nice if he could apply at least part of his pallet’s concept acquisition or meditation’s concept processing with his instincts and perception sphere so he doesn’t need to physically swallow things but maybe gets almost as good returns through passive-active hunter observation. He can be inspired and borrow from the snake but he is still human. He should adapt it a bit!

Phil Ritter

Sadly we are not ready and Jake is way too weak to interact with such a piece of lore yet. Tom is not something our human minds would be able to comprehend

Phil Ritter

Read the side stories because they are introduced there. It’s a faction that build Rigoria to compete with the newly risen primordials only to get wiped out in the process. Not exactly sure if it was explained why but if I remember right Rigoria herself did them in

Rob Lyon

I'm pretty sure he is a precursor to the automata legion. As others on here said I think he is the race that made Regoria that then died out or was killed out.

tigerfishie

Tyftc, wonderful experience. Can’t wait to see more!

Daniel Hamilton

When powerful beings thought, it left traces behind. Remnants of power in the form of energy and Is it supposed to be “when powerful beings fought”

AetherBoye

Possibly knowledge so forbidden even the viper doesn't remember it?

Rob Lyon

Pretty sure it's the race that created her it's mentioned in one of the side stories that she sacrificed the entire race that created her to ascend to godhood

Fyrtue

But the Viper can't forget due to his bloodline. There's a reason the Void gods call him the keeper of forbidden knowledge.

Fyrtue

A lot of people have made the Rigoria connection and I think that's right. My take though is rather than being a member of the race that made him, this could be Rigoria himself before he betrayed his people to ascend. Also with palate fixed and Jake probably eating the Yip flavored snack soon any bets on if he'll also consume the heart of the Celestial Child?

austin kutz

I think it's Regoria the Maker. It's one of the few primordials that Jake hasn't met and it's essentially a strange enlightened robot. Is it a unique lifeform? I actually don't remember

Exaiter

desire to devour other mana times or life mana’s desire to cause growth. Types not times I guess

John Durrett

I believe he does that already - learns thru observation. However like the Sages Tomb, it takes a long time to absorb some concepts and Jake frequently returns/repeats an area he feels lacking in at the moment. Pallet is here to stay - and Jake is still fully human, so long as he continues evolving as a Human when the System prompts for it.

John Durrett

Villy is using his skill to absorb concepts. The very abilities that powerful A Grades use require very advanced concepts. So leaving behind concepts or thoughts used to employ those abilities is completely valid.

John Durrett

tyftc. Now that Palette is fixed. Once Jake kills his True Dragon I hope he uses Meditate, goes in and sits right next to the Divinity gate and Evolves using the leaked concepts like a National Or Galaxy Treasure. Just suck in all that goodness as part of his building up.

MadMats17

TFTC :) Welcome back everyone :) Hope your weekends were better than mine. Suggested edits: Re: ch 1222 clarification The sentence "why are you keeping this converation going to buy time?" is awkwardly phrased. Adding a ? between "going" and "to" breaks it up into two coherent thoughts and is the smallest edit. The first asking "Why are you keeping this conversation going?" and the second proposing a reason "To buy time?" otherwise the whole sentence should be amended to "Why are you stalling?" Ch 1223: "When powerful beings *thought*, it left traces behind." should this be "thought", or "fought"? One means people leave concepts around when they struggle against others and the other implies they leave concepts about when they daydream. Either might be true, just figured i'd mention it to be sure. "other mana *times* or " should be "types" "seemed particularly potent or *useless*." should be "useful" "that most of what the Viper had consumed had indeed been *mostly* useless. " ditch this as you already have "most" in this sentence. "and hope our *continued* partnership will continue to bring prosperity." repetitive. Ditch the highlighted one.

Ender419

WOW! This mini-arc is incredible. Can’t wait to learn more about this powerful faction and to determine if their is any reminiscence of them during Jake’s current time line. If not, I think Jake may have a new project for his Jake Juice.

A Flashy BR

Thank you for the chapter!!

SwiftVogel

Prediction: The robotic humanoid faction was the faction of the 13th primordial. This primordial was then eraced by Eversmiles transcendent ability, karmic annihilation. The only issue is was stated that Eversmiles karmic annihilation doesn't work on people on his own level.

Hayden Leech

My guess? That guy is a member of the Race that created and were eventually destroyed by Rigoria. Called “Makers” That’s my guess haha.

maxime brodeur

More forbidden knowledge discorvered by Jake?… can’t wait to find out how this turns out!

Demonshadow639

So is he a leader/part of the order that is trying to capture Jake???

Ivo Wißen

I think it's part of the makers, the will use the eye of the magus to creat rigoria

Kevin Watson

any chance something soured and villy wiped them out later in life? it’s an interesting and unexpected addition

Thenais

Clearly forbidden knowledge

Jesse

Anyone know how many true years the story has been since the tutorial?

Joshua Little

Thanks for the chapter.

Quantainium C

Probably around 30. Jake says he is less than 100 and he spent 50 years in nevermore. But it has been a few years since he said he was less than 100 so it could be just over 30.

Dustin Baya

I understood it in a way that He can only use it only on people far weaker than himself when they are still alive, but he can also so so it when they are dead at which point it doesnt matter anymore how strong they were

Carl Never

Funny that in listening to palate vision in book 3 the same day as the palate vision here

Tamathon

Is there anything past [Mythical] ?

S_Ally

I wonder if this mysterious person is related to the faction that tried to snatch Jake. And they either destroyed their past karma or somehow became "Forbidden Knowledge" before the Viper got his Bloodline. So, even if the Viper can remember everything, would he remember something he forgot before his memory became perfect....? Jake does have a history of discovering Forbidden Knowledge in these journeys to the Viper's past.

Zogarth

Fixed stuff. As for the one yesterday, I kinda like it as it is. I think it's very speech-like the way it's framed.

Chris Connolly

One question for zog. The power of the dragon is so clear. But in terms of a hunter, has the tiger ever been considered? It is a sole hunter, the largest and smartest of the most successful predator on earth. Maybe part of this path can mirror it?

Ty Cooper

Or they gave an ai computer the eye of magus and got rigoria out of the concets

Keion

I wonder why Jake doesn’t use the time chamber more??? It woulda been perfect for this meditation skill …..and another thing the point of palate is to use concepts to improve the treasure’s inside the subspace while it also learns more about given object (refine) so what’s the point of a desolate world core seems like I waste to break your skill shoot she can at least get his last levels in his profession I guess

Seen Death

While it would be a crazy location for records and whatnot, jake should feel lucky to have done this much with it already haha.. his soul was risking permanent damage just getting there, and could have easilly lost his mind Hell definitely go back, i just dont know when it would be a good idea This scenerio had to, and was the perfect opportunity though- without using 2 of those vision points and forcing the system to keep his brain intact for the vision hed be super dead though lol

Toni

I know the time for the dragon battle is close but I honestly can't wait for him to head back to earth. I want to see his family's reaction to him dating a goddess

Taylor

Random thought while re reading the whole series but will we ever get a dedicated Tom chapter. Is he still in sandy? Tom is Tom. But I need a pov.

ABTelford

Ya know, now it makes more sense how the Hydra became Villy’s follower - the path of consumption falls under Villy’s wing. LOTS of stuff falls under his wings!

Baged

I hope not.. The ongoing joke would fall flat.

Abhishek

Aren’t the automatons at war with the bee people ?

DrReverseCallout

From what I remember, being in the time chamber for long periods of time will damage your soul. Seeing as how he practically dunked on his true soul in like a month or so, I would say that including the time chamber would put him on a ridiculous timer and damage his true soul for good.

Sergej Fel

Wait, he had a vision of the 1st and at the time only universe... yet the Viper said to the robussy that it belonged to the "Strongest Faction of the MULTIverse", Probably an oversight but worth a fix to not confuse readers
