I can't even imagine what the old man is going through. The longest Jake has ever spent on some boring task was on learning how to use Shroud in like 15 years, but even then he was actually doing something. The Sword Saint is just... experiencing time. Not even meditating or anything. Just watching the seasons pass for nearly 700 years. His old man energy will be off the charts after this.

What's Aeon's thing with goblins, like I swear this is the 2nd goblin we've seen that is/was blessed by him, like 100% of goblins we've met have had a blessing from Aeon at one point, also Zog is dragging the B-Grade evolution so he can leave us on a cliffhanger tomorrow but at the same time the chapters dragging it out are still so damn good

I love how by any metric, the Sword Saint is a genius and absolutely shooting up the ranks. But because he hangs around Jake, he doesn't look as good as he is. At least it looks like Aeon see it.

I feel like Jake should really take some time in a time compression zone like the sword saint and meditate on concepts with his meditation skill could be really valuable especially in upgrading his archery skill

Sword Saint just casually sitting and experiencing seasons changing for 689 years is insane to me and at the same time, very awesome of him. Glad he is going to be made Aeon’s new Chosen. Way to go Sword Saint. I busted out laughing when Minaga just gave up and told Jake where to go to enter dungeon.

The Sword Saint really putting those old man vibes to good use. Gonna be fun when the next time he meets Jake he'll be a fellow Chosen of a Primordial and have an upgraded Transcendent skill. You know, with the Sword Saint about to become a Primordial's Chosen and Sylphie likely to become one soon too, I wonder if and when Dina will join them as Nature's Attendant's Chosen to complete the Nevermore party of Pinnacle Gods' Chosen hat trick.

Jake is a master at messing with Minaga but Minaga is a master at causing psychological damage to the entire multiverse including Jake. He'll never get that last half a star because Jake will never forget that lore dump that lasted like an entire day while Casper was practically comatose and Jake was trapped in the dungeon unable to leave or meditate to avoid listening to him

I think Zog said that he was or still is a massive WoW fan so my guess is that its something like goblin engineering. Something like natural tinkerers with a slant for explosives. Aeon, being the clock man, see's these little dudes that like to make things they make go boom (Im picturing a cartoon tnt with a clock strapped to it for a countdown time), and takes them in to help them get better at the time and mechanical engineering part of their fighting paths. The only other paths I see for goblins is probably merchant or assassin ones

What I think Aeon is trying the SS to achieve is the deeper concepts of Time/Seasons. Installing that slow leaking pipe into his true soul as described by Vilas when trying to access/understand concepts when you don't have have access to the gate of enlightenment.

Makes sense the sword saint is taking a different path than getting a sacred skill. I doubted sword saint can get scared since not even a primordial's chosen, like Artemis was able to do it.

I don't think tomorrow will have options. Keep in mind that he needs to evolve his race first then his class/profession so tomorrow at most might tell us what his race will become (or if it's still just human at B grade).

Once getting to level 349 every level gos to your race. So with him being 349 in class race and profession, his next level will make him B Grade.

god damnit, I can't wait for when there's something exciting happening again. Don't get me wrong it's all part of the process. In order for the exciting shit to slap you've gotta have the progression and POV build up, but the long awaited seat of the exalted prima event has been a carrot dangling there for so long. I wanna see all the various factions throw down in B grade already. Although I do enjoy Slyphie (Mushoku Tensei anybody?) and Sandy messing with Jake. That's hilarious. Super happy to get a Sword Saint update, but yeah big rivalry matchup incoming with the Transcendence upgrade to match Jake's own special variety of cheat skills. Mio out here rizzin out with his time affinity just trippin on seasons. Whats up with this Hobgoblin? Is there a notable hobgoblin from some other lore source that we should know about like Artemis? I get he's Aeon's previous Chosen just curious if he has some allusion component to his character.

C grade lets them polymorph usually. Sylphie doesn’t feel a need to or to change her speech. She did go from only Jake and her parents understanding her to everyone I believe at C. She believes she’s already in the most perfect form so why make a human form. I assume a part of it is her elemental parts being silly and different as well. Last, I’d imagine most monsters use a human form to deal with the enlightened races better and to make it more comfortable for those races. Sylphie has no need she has SS and Jake and others as her minions.

I’m excited to see Sword Saint’s upgrade, for him to be bumped to Chosen, and for the multiverse’s reaction to yet another Chosen, especially of a Primordial, hailing from Earth. I also think it would be cute to see Sylphie get the Mystie/Hawkie treatment when Jake finally evolves to B grade. I love rereading when Jake was first trying to learn to use his Wings and Hawkie was straight clowning him. But by the end Hawkie admitted he was severely outclassed.

I don't think Zog will go into much on Jake power-leveling in the dungeon. He already described what was in there once. Would be kind of boring to read. I expect a paragraph or two about it, then Jake returns to his lodge to evolve (which he has done for every grade after leaving the tutorial). We might get descriptions but not the decisions. Monday will what he chooses, talking to Villy, and returning to The Order. That would be a typical Zog cliffhanger.

This is most likely the case now that I think of it. Jake seeing the gate at B-Grade is completely unheard of. It was stated that doing so is something that S-Grades need to do before reaching God Tier.

I've only listened to the sudiobooks so forgive me but, shouldnt this be "Transcendence"? The Sword Saint is a Transcendent(adjective) who experiences Transcendence(noun). It may have been a different way around for the entire series because they sound so similar. ", it had ** far longer," missing word "been" "discussing a race to the *room*." should be "moon" maybe?

I am wondering if you need to enter Nevermore below a certain level in Class B i.e. you needed to be below Class C - level 210 to compete. Do they have a similar rule for Class B ? Can they earn more titles? Don't forget Jake has that entire garden he won and planted at C Class, growing at the Nevermore time dilation rate. The garden should be chock full of harvestable materials like herbs and posions (plus his personal favourite "Mushrooms" - LOL) .

I dont think so, the before 210 rule was to compete on the leaderboards. Both so you can get the biggest multiplier possible and to not have a unfair advantage. However there is no leaderboard for B grade and up. Nevermore herself said Jake's visit in B grade would be much less crazy.
