Few if any beings are born higher than F grade but some reach “adulthood” at a higher grade like sylphie who was born F grade and could have reach B grade simply through living a regular life.

Yesterday I commented "I'm guessing the lack of a race quest is related to primeval origin energy. If Jake is naturally producing some energy that can evolve others, it stands to reason that he naturally evolves himself, too." Guess I'll also offend the viper and say great minds think alike 😁

I'd say more than fair odds given it's Duskleaf. Even another Alchemy focus Deity. I highly doubt that Duskleaf would not try to learn everything his could from what a Soulflame can and can't. I can totally see his devoting a few centuries to experiment

Theory: the first sage was also “primeval” the way Jake is as both are direct products of the system. The sage was a tool for initial growth, and now Jake is a tool for culling. The first sage was needed to influence the primordials onto supreme paths that pave the records and paths of the multiverse itself in order to allow all the multiverse to grow and expand. Now that the multiverse has grown for so long, the abundance of records is becoming too large to sustain its own growth rate without breaking. As demonstrated by Nevermore, the multiverse has been on an ever growing records boom for trillions of years and the shear amount of potential has started to create paths that are simply overpowered and a growth rate that is unsustainable without intervention. It reminds me of Dina’s observation upon returning to the pantheon of life and addressing Yddrasil; Jake is something outside of nature. The reason Jake is allowed to know of the first sage is because they are two sides of the same coin. The power of the system made manifest in a path to regulate the multiverse

Small sidenote here. Jake found the boots of the first sage due to the Sage planting them in the tutorial dungeon for Jake to find after "meeting" him way back when the sage was still technically alive

Tomorrow will be a chapter about The sword saint, Carmen and probably his brother. Friday will mostly be his bantering with Minaga before entering and getting his level. Monday we will most likely see the options and if lucky see the profession evolution before the end of the week.

Very random question but what happened to Ollie the Golden Retriever from the side stories? He should’ve reached C-grade a long time ago. I would be surprised if he didn’t choose some type of polymorph ability to be closer to the human family he’s protecting. And his Boy should be an adult now. Would love to know what he became. Probably not in the main story but a side story update would be awesome

Without the "sometimes" the sentence makes perfect sense but with it I'm not sure at all. Maybe should be just "some" instead? "*Bloodline* naturally grew with a person" should be "Bloodlines" plural "which *no* self-respecting alchemist *wouldn’t* want to get a good look at" The double negatives throw me entirely here I suggest changing to "any" and "would" instead keeping it clearer. "maybe *a* leaner in some places" missing word "little" or ditch the "a" either works "forcing Jake to *force* down a chuckle as he also" repetitive word choice. Use "hold" instead

Do you mean primeval human? I ask bc Primordial is a title, not a race, so it's not something that can be evolved into, but a title that means they're the gods from the 1st era. But Mr author does have a taste for all Prim: Primordial gods Primeval Origins Primal Hunter Prima guardians So I wouldn't be surprised if Jake evolves into a prim-something. Just don't know if he can snag Primordial for race. Maybe Jake's race somehow predates even the first era? Idk

I did kinda expect Sandy to grow do massive at B-grade to the point of making the sandworms in the Dune univers look small. I did even expect Sylphie to grow to the size of a great bald eagle.

Not gonna lie: even though Sylphie still only saying Ree is funny, it contradicts what was stated early on in the series - that all beasts get more intelligent and able to speak with higher evolutions. Same with the Shimerfur warpsnatcher - it should’ve gotta a boost to intelligence at evolution but apparently didn’t. Since this is a draft, author man can still fix it. Hope he does.
