Leveling mainly from his origin energy seems like a huge downside with how long it takes between uses and the outcomes being connected to him , unless he wanted to do a grand tour of the universes, hunting for his class and using his energy for diplomacy/allies

TFTC. Has it been officially confirmed anywhere the level requirements for each grade? I have seen many hypothesizing what it would be but I dont remember any part of the actual text that says B grade is 350 to X and A grade is X to X etc. Im also half certain it hasn't been mentioned intentionally so that Zogarth doesn't paint himself into a corner with S grade being 2000 levels or some madness, allows himself the wiggle room of setting it each time Jake evolves.

I think it was hinted at that godhood is level 1000. Something about Villy reminiscing that S-grade Valdemar at a specific point already had his class at 999 and was only working on his profession catching up.

The filler in this evolution is crazy he basically just said the same things over again multiple times. Don’t get me wrong I like hearing his thoughts but I feel this time he just said a lot of unnecessary stuff we already know everyone here has been reading this for probably years at this point and knows most the info he said in between choices like I knew just from the names of these first four he wasn’t going to pick them and why and it’s simple none of them fit his path well and the system has to offer at least one that fits he very well and making it the last one just to cliff us on not even seeing it kinda sucks at least let us read it’s description now I can already guess the cliff for this Friday is going to be his class selection and then Mondays chapter is probably going to rince and repeat this where we only get four options knowing he will pick the fifth but not seeing it for all the Christmas break and that’s assuming we even get a Monday chapter

I feel it is my duty to manage expectations of some of the commentors I have seen so they don't lose their minds when realisation dawns. Zog said in his update "I originally planned to take a break this Friday, the 19th of December, which is still the plan" so one more chapter folks - Thats all! He also goes on to say “…stopping at a point where the cliff isn’t too bad. There will still be a cliff, don’t you worry about that, just not the worst kind…” So just to manage expectation. We WILL get the Profession evolution and some internal Jake musings, or perhaps multiversal POVs tomorrow. But we will NOT get the class evolution or the Villy/Artemis catch ups where they point out how broken Jake and his bloodline are in fun and endearing ways. That will be 2026 I suspect.

I did wonder about a path called "Just Jake" with the flavour text saying he's a harbinger of primeval origins, a heretic-chosen, an alchemist, he is all of those things and more but above all he is his own person with his own path. But i think that would suit his A or perhaps S grade evolutions when hes closer to affirming his own path for divinity and has even more system breaking feats behind him

i think harbinger of primeval origins is 100% guaranteed now. the profession literally adapted for him so if we don’t get it now then at some point it will adapt for his path so hard he will be forced to take it. i think godhood class and profession will be primal hunter and harbinger of primeval origins. at least now harbinger is guaranteed to be chosen in the furure

Hopefully the profession will be a little different this time (It was the same in D- and C- grades) or at least be closer to the maximum stat total. As a reminder, Jake’s current profession is giving him 230/240 stats, so the B-grade equivalent would be 690/720.

I’m predicting 5 will be a profession “of Jake/of the Primal hunter” or something like that. The way Villy’s profession path skills are of the Malefic Viper, we’re now going to see Jake forge his own profession path for the first time. The thing that will become his legacy skill set in Godhood. It will emphasize he’s still learning to forge his path so he can still upgrade skills from Villy, but it’ll also allow him to make his own skills related to Jake Juice the way he makes Primal Hunter skills.

the flavour text of that profession makes it sound like he will surrended some control to the bloodline, and seeing how it also looks at the relationship jake has with the viper makes it very clear what on that profession he wont be in full control of what happens, so until it changes into something less ominous, he is likely to chose something else

TYFTC, For the sage profession. While it does not mention the First Sage, doesn't it lead to questions that would be knowledge others cant know? I cant see this being a profession without forbidden knowledge being brought up. Obviously Jake won't take it, but it seems like a very crazy option to even offer. People have been shown to be inquisitive, and the system giving a prof that would invite questions seems odd.

"Harbinger of Primeval Origins – All have an Origin; all have a Path to the peak. You shall be the Harbinger to awaken that Origin..." I interpret the origin and the peak to be nearly the same. I can't help but comparing the concepts of peak, origin and the horizon to be the final form especially after that sentence of the profession. I find it then very fitting he has chosen classes pertaining to the concept of horizon and always chasing it. It being the origin or peak forever laying just above the horizon.

All classes (but the conquerer one) have in some way or another been teased in the flavor text. What I found quite intriguing is the description of Jake as a “living paradox” because it encompasses his status as heretic-chosen while leaving room for so much more wild stuff. So I’ll just - for the sake of it - take the guess that the profession title will be something along this phrase

Okay so… I had a thought about Villy while reading about the bed… what if the hidden faction is actually in part connected to Villy’s dead wife… what if the reason he’s struggled all this time to raise her, was because she was off over with this other faction… I have no idea if Zog is planning that or not, but it really fucked with me when I though about it. Harbinger being the 4th option made me scratch my head. What else has Jake done of professional significance in C grade that is grander than his Harbinger ability or the First Sage encounter? The only thing I can think of is him being his Heretic-Chosen self from Nevermore all the way to Yip. He gained so many records by standing before the gods and continuously colluding with the Viper at a multiversal level. I haven't added the actual numbers up, but chatting with the gods in Nevermore, working with Villy against Yip, and representing the Viper to the Pantheon of Life were rewarded a ton of levels. Do all those antics outweigh his C grade Harbinger creations? I actually kinda hope so.

Since we know so little about Godhood. I've always wondered how Jake will make the Malefic skills his own to ascend. I've always had the thought that he needs to combine everything together and make it his own to proceed. Moving to the Harbinger class would help in that sense. But again we don't know how Godhood works and if he can keep both class and profession separate.

At the end of the tutorial he saw an item, which if I remember correctly it was, a meditating mat that someone used to evolve each time. It did give effects. Don't remember what it did tho. I've been waiting for the bed to get this effect since then. He makes sure to use the bed every single time.

I just keyed into something here. In his evolution requirements met message it says "continuing to embody the values and traits of both a heretic and a Chosen, all while truly being neither." Seems odd phrasing to me as I understand Jake to be both heretic and chosen rather than neither of them. Maybe it's even a spoiler for whatever this crazy last option is.

I've put some thought into a couple of the skills myself. The easiest option I think and super on brand for his heretic nature is to combine Fnag of the MV and Fang of Man into his own skill. Another could be pride merging with his gaze skill or using his own connection with the first sage for sagacity. Time will tell I suppose and likely not any time soon.

Its because he is a chosen-heretic but the neither is how he and villy are friends and equals. An equal to a primordial would not have the ability to be a chosen-heretic because they'd be a god

Yeah, this last option was good. Really good. I think the system wants him to lean into his Harbinger path very badly, as the system loves new things, so it removed all the issues with the class at the previous grade, and even asked him "so why hesitate?". Haha

Although, it's a complete divergence from his heretic-chosen stuff. He gets to keep all of it for as long as he wants to, but the new profession doesn't care about all that. I think he is growing up, eventually he has to detach from his Patron and find his own Path to tread and domain to work in. His profession is ultimately one for a junior, not an "adult".
