TFTC :) I might be wrong but werent there 100 true royals and each one was only replaced when they died whether from combat or old age meaning there were never more than 100 at a time, right? So how can "one in ten thousand true royals" be a metric for saying how extraordinary an event is? There havent been 10000 true royals to check against have there? I freely admit I might just be wrong. Suggested edits: "*Finally*, the ritual reached its *final* stage" repetitive phrasing. Either change the first to "Eventually" or the second to "closing" " looked somewhat *familiar* to Vesperia herself." should be "similar" "as she acknowledged her firstborn *True Royal* " should be "Queens Guard", right? "something disturbed ** about midway" missing word "you"

I would like to see the perspective of these queen's guards the first time they meet Jake. Also is chosen of Lucenti a typo or is this just how they're being introduced. I don't remember that character from the leader boards and it feels like a pretty deliberate drop after Lilian brought up that she might be blessed by them in B grade.

I really want to know which faction the monk is from. I kinda expected him to be from the Dao sect but those guys seem reasonable enough to not need a warning. They can’t be from the holy church since we know they only had 9th and 10th place in their camp. I don’t remember any overly religious factions or where a monk would fit but maybe they were recruited by Rigoria at some point?

I love when that happens. I’m still waiting on the hooded figure that hired William in book 13 who was capable of avoid leaving karmic bonds and left behind dead puppet bodies (much like the group that ambushed Jake and co in the void) to be tied back in.

Makes me wonder….. if Rigatoria was behind Jake’s kidnapping attempt and ultimately Jake goes to war against Rigatoria, wouldn’t it help the war effort by leaps and bounds to ‘reawaken’ all of the extinct lineages? Obviously Vespy is a superior being among the true royals and that would make quite the splash! 😁

Vesperia is the best daddy's girl, but Jake will be a big boon for her in the event if he joins the Endless Empire in the event. I feel like the Holy Son is a derivative of someone we have already met, Ell'Hakan remnant were recovered by the Holy Church, except his core, which Jake has. Without his true power from the bloodline but part of Yip of Yore's records, Jake might have a handful to deal with.

Last thing that was mentioned of them is that they are travelling around the multiverse. I think it was just a way for Zog to not have to write a chapter about him visiting them, seeing that I don't think much of significance could be told. As the story progresses I am expecting them to be mentioned less and less and eventually not at all. His brother and maybe his nephew will probably come into play again (probably during the SoTEP event), but his parents and sister-in-law will probably only be mentioned in passing or in a short paragraph about Jake seeing them again. His parents and sister-in-law have little to no interest in becoming more powerful, so I expect them to eventually die, but at C-Grade that is a 10k year lifespan. Last thing I remember is they were still in D-Grade and that is like a 1k year lifespan. Still long, but I believe it has been around 25 years in real time since the story began. Jake is around 150+ years old because of all the time dilation, make him significantly older than his parents at this point. A lot of characters in the early parts of the story are becoming less and less relevant. I would start to expect that they will rarely be mentioned anymore if at all. Even Sylphie isn't mentioned that much anymore. We only got a few paragraphs about her and Sandy a couple chapters ago. We haven't heard about the Demon Prince in a really long time, still waiting for the chapter about that wedding. I think it mostly do to the rapid progress of Jake. Those that are not at his level become no longer important enough to mention. Jake is at the level where he is dealing with very powerful people and is in very powerful circles. Jake being a chosen makes him pretty much the default second in command for The Order. He is even above Duskleaf, Snappy, and the Ladies of the Verdant Lagoon. Although Jake would never act like he controls them because he isn't the Leadership type. Anyway, I got really off topic there. ADHD is a real SOB.

I wonder what kind of path he has considering his nature and high ranking. I’d say he is a digester like Sandy but if that were the case he wouldn’t have ranked nearly as high

I dont see it like that For most, assassination attempts are a definite sign of aggression, but thats just another growth opportunity to the truely strong (like jake) For example, The Court of Shadows got a contract to send someone against jake, and the only consideration he got was permission to go through with it from the Viper. Even the Viper technially agreed to sending an assassin after jake. For Valhal, theyre contracting mercinaries. Nothing personal- theyre just looking for fights Even on battlefields where their own faction has opponents hired from their same faction So these guys dont really get grudges saved against them Atleast thats my understanding from what i think Jake feels There are plenty of people who have a more personal reason to kill Jake, i think one of those dragons was forshadowed? The people making the contracts are the real enemies

Liked this chapter, but there's definitely a mistake or misnomer. The true royals are the original 100 queens of the endless empire, of which only 61 remained during the 93d era. And in prior chapters it was said that of the true royal lines who died/were killed none were reborn till Vesperia. So I don't understand the talk about thousand and tens of thousands of "true royals" that were trained from birth. Shouldn't those be high level hive queens instead? It was also mentioned in prior chapters, that all 100 true royal hive queens are the equals in the hierarchy of the endless empire

What would happen if Jake Jake juiced the new true queens guards? Like their origin is Vesperia who is already abnormal and then if he infuses so important treasure for a queens guard I wonder just how unique their path could become.
