Love these chapters. So who's next? Carmen, King, Meira, Casper? I would like a Caleb chapter, especially after Jake's broken spirit so we can get his perspective on events. Like his wife and parents suddenly gaining level like they were F grade again. Or his son jumping to peak D grade and wanting uncle Jake's training before nevermore.

If youre on the discord and cn shed some light on the true royals discussion from yesterday please read and reply. I still dont get the true royals thing from yesterday because, if there are possibly dozens or hundreds of true royals of each lineage at any given time, how did any ever get wiped out? Just hide some TR away at different locations throughout the heartlands and youre golden. The automata cant possibly get to them all. If however a single True royal exists and a replacement only happens when the first dies and a potential evolves, a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, then I can see lineages being truncated. Kill the small number of potentials then kill the TR and youre done. That is how I thought the situation had been presented before. Suggested edits: "there *ever* aware that a C-grade had ever visited. " should be "even" to avoid the repetition "Successfully *upgraded* his Transcendent skill." to keep the subject consistent, this should just be "upgrade" " as they *all* mobilized their energy," Redundant word use. Ditch this as you already said they "all" were doing stuff "as one" "unleashed their gravity magic *as one*." same here. "body was affected. The gravity magic around was ** affected, " Repetive phrasing. Either insert the word "also" at the ** to make it seem more deliberate or rephrase one. "and unable to *affect* him," third use in close proximity. perhaps "unable to gain purchase," instead "*landing one* final blow as he sprang forward, *landing one* vertical cut " Repetitive. Change the second to "a" and a comma after "cut" and it still works. "stumble as a *heave wave* of" should be "heaving" maybe? or "huge" or pick either "heave" or "wave" and ditch the other. "scattered by the *wound* pouring out of his wound." should be "blood" or maybe just "... of fallen leaves pouring from his wound."? " them *both* before winter came, overwhelming *both* entirely in *both* body and soul." Triple-tition. Suggest ditch the first, keep the second, and ditch the third.

I was thinking maybe the Shadow plant monster from the C grade hunting ground that Jake fought. The one that was the strongest on that planet, maybe a little stronger but I doubt they were as strong as dragons.

There’s only one True Royal for any lineage at a time , and if they die one of their godqueens or scions might be able to take on the mantle but it’s not guaranteed if I remember correctly

It's been said for the last 15 books, but this chapter hit different for me on how much of a cheat Jake's Bloodline is SS spent over 1k years to upgrade his Transcendence and it comes with necessary backlash Meanwhile Jake's Bloodline just keeps evolving and the system offers up new skills to help him master it for no covercharge

Primordials having chosen from the same generation is probably rare already. Their chosen being from the same planet is possibly a unique occurrence throughout the multiverse’ history. To think that there’s a possibility of a third if stormild’s chosen becomes a god (or dies) quickly enough. Up to 6, even, depending on how things play out for Carmen, the risen, and the holy church guy. Eron is already the chosen of one of the Dao dude’s subordinates, so it’s unlikely he can transfer patrons. Rigoria has little to no presence that I can recall in the new universe, talk less of Milky Way and earth. Eversmile is a hard core lurker too. Heard nothing of the Titan, wyrmgod, or Yggdrasil staking any interest in Jake’s locality. Is there any primordial in missing?

Honestly. The I'm pretty sure the Sword Saint is by far the most talented person on earth. Everyone else has some advantage that brought them up to that level. Miyamoto is just that good naturally.

Living for thousands of years as a C grade is normal; I’m not sure what their maximum possible lifespan is (the number 10,000 years sounds right to me, but I don't have a source on that) but burning 1000 years when you’re about to break through to B grade is no big deal.

I still kind of think SS is stronger than Jake. If he had of been a chosen when they fought, the extra boost would of meant the fight would of been nowhere near as equal. Now he has an upgraded transcendence and is a chosen? He has alot more things in his toolkit which align with his path. SS has proven time and again that he his a genius on a multivariate level. Understanding concepts after brief exposure (when he did the void slash after his first trip to the Order). Jake uses his bloodline as a crutch

Realized something about our OP boy.. Jake was able to technically one-shot his first D grade at peak E grade, but had to wait for his poisons to finish the job. He did cleanly one-shot his first C grade when he was peak D grade. He was then able to one-shot his first B grade at late C grade, but nowhere near peak This trend is not a simple acceleration of his relative power between grades. It's exponential because the power gap continues to widen between each grade and he's able to overcome the enhancing gaps earlier and earlier. With this trajectory, Jake may be able to slay his first god by mid S rank.

I don't believe your trajectory is right as we go up in grade you only get more outstanding people so less trash as was said in earlier books the multiverse normally levels out at C-B grade you need to be top level to progress to A-S-God

Yea I agree. It read weird to me and didn't seem to fit right. I liked the thought of it being decay, because time decays all things, obsolescence would be a good one for something becoming "too old" but that's a weird word to use in stories. Lol

TFTC Unrelated side note: While rereading book 14, at the first talk between Jake and Villy after the Yip and Ikky fight- I could actually picture the B grade version of Jake and Villy going through the order bar hopping with both of them being a little drunk, arms around each other’s shoulders, weaving and singing and laughing their asses off. I can see clear as day. Would be funny as hell.

It seems to be building up to a potential lineup of both chosen of primordials and chosen of non primordials and void gods all rising to S grade and beyond in the same era and mostly from the same planet except Meira and DIna. Last two not being from earth but still chosen, from the same era, and direct contact with the Chosen of the Malefic Viper impacting their paths.

I gotta be honest, I think the writing is getting worse, I don’t think he is trying anymore - and the metaphor that this skill was initially made up for (a regeneration back into the spring time of his years) was just destroyed by adding a winter component… The timeframes and the distances have never made a lick of sense and ever since B grade caution has been thrown to the wind. I’m not enjoying the chapters anymore - the story has lost its way. Recognize this won’t land well in a thread made up of only those paying to read ahead of a story they love…this will probably be my last post. I can’t pay for this nonsense anymore.

I think the point if this upgrade is to just move past that initial skill and make it more than just the regeneration skill like you said. I know you have written this book off and that is fine. These books aren't for everyone and some people lose interest over time. But to say it is getting worse is disingenuous as zogarth has been pretty consistent with the scaling with these kinds of things. And as characters gets more and more powerful it takes longer to achieve enlightenment and with a transcendent skill the time could be anywhere as this is something outside of the “System” so it is on brand and consistent. In my eyes at least.
