I’m pretty sure A-grade is strong enough to be the leader of multiple galaxies in the greater multiverse. This hidden world is probably at least the size of a galaxy cluster I think, though probably larger

I love this arc. The lore and world building are fantastic. It feels like we’re seeing a different side of Jake. Usually, his curiosity is anchored in his drive to progress but here it feels like he’s curious for curiosity’s sake. I love the Venusians being too powerful for him to fight and being unaware of the concept of a “Chosen” so they’re not overly deferential beyond him being a guest. Jake has never really had to focus on being tactful and diplomatic. It’s a new and different kind of challenge! It does make me think of all the theories that the Seat of the Exalted Prima will be more of a political challenge and this is preparing Jake for that so it doesn’t feel unrealistic that he can politic intentionally. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

I wonder if Jake could find a teacher to help progress his Profession. What new materials could he trade for to make new potions maybe even Villy has never seen. He might also be able to get new items i.e. Chestplate, cloak, etc or upgrade his soul bound items - necklace?

I'm guessing that time passes much faster inside of this world compared to outside, which is why the integration clearly did not happen recently here despite the fact that it surely did not have access to the System before the integration. This was also hinted at when Jake remarked on how quickly Villy responded last chapter. The faster time is probably the trait thing that Villy mentioned earlier.

Makes me wonder if that ancestral village frogs originated in the Amazon. If they were full beasts then, they wouldn’t remember their origins…. Then with the time dilation, they got a head start, but as they are in the pocket dimension (perhaps a unintentional consequence of the system creating the world wonder) they didn’t do the prima event like the rest of the 93rd universe….. and maybe are considered a part of the world wonder….

My working theory is that the minor world just has a bonkers level of time dilation. Minor world created post system, but time just goes by insanely fast there compared to the outside world.

Descriptions of the frogs make them seem to be based on the Dart frog. Also I am curious if time flows differently on this world than outside it? Like time moves much faster there than outside of it which might explain how their world according to the shaman is 200,000+ years old. When Jake leaves it will be time for him to go to the exalted prima event or something else will happen and Jake is in a life or death situation when all of a sudden a prompt appears telling him it’s time to go and to accept a teleport out to the event.

pretty sure this is the most description we've ever been given about a place. usually everything is so vaguely described it feels like "that location? it's there. and that guy? he uhh.. has eyes." I'm not complaining, as there's many authors who do the opposite and try to paint too much of a picture. this chapter felt like a nice balance between the two

What if the administrator and exalted prima was all about shepherding minor worlds and lost worlds into the 93rd universe. Like make the 93rd universe a collection point for lost peoples in the previous universes

lol...dotf is going on a month long break in February. zog obviously takes pleasure in torturing us, but for normal authors, I would think a lot might consider dropping the RR/patreon side after seven books or so. but then again, it keeps them writing some...who knows how rarely some authors would write if the weren't at least trying to post 3 times a week.

With them saying it has been a few hundred thousand years, I’m thinking there is a massive time dilation here. Therefore Jake should hopefully get to spend a long time here working on himself and when he gets pulled out for the system event, he will be a lot more powerful

It is not a universe so it cant be integrated in such a way. Unsure if all minor worlds have laws that the rest share as well but Yalsten was sealed off into its own pocket world after being part of the multiverse beforehand. One must assume not all pocket worlds share the same backstory or link to the multiverse. Interesting possibility though, helping integrate a minor world would definitely have some sort of reward... maybe a title?

Hard to say. Yalsten had eons of backstory, but the indications were that it was created in our era. Whether that history is “real” or fake is sort of a philosophical question, but the System clearly doesn’t need to use something as crude as time dilation to get it done.

Interesting, Jake is in actual danger here, potentially. Not just because it's a closed off minor world, but simply for being in the 93rd universe. And not in a curated environment like a dungeon or a hunting ground or a event overseen by seniors etc. There has been much of that, since he's part of a top faction of the multiverse, but it's very nice to have some good old solo adventure as well. I reckon he has ways to teleport away or call for rescue still, but that's normal. It's good also that everything and everyone there is real, too, and not generated as a learning aid for the little kiddies. If he went on a slaughter, he'd be killing real people, real monsters, real mushrooms, etc.
