Unfortunately Zogarth made several chapters about Jake failing to do basic post evolution care of his gear when he evolved to C-Grade, and an entire arc about getting appropriate replacements. Really hammered it home about how it was just basic lack of care that isn't even hard to do, the whole humiliation conga. And now Jake has evolved again. Maybe none of his gear needs it, maybe he's just continuing to be negligent, maybe Zogarth forgot or doesn't care.

TFTC :) Small mental problem but..spiders dont have bones they have an exoskeleton powered by hydraulic "muscles" so decaying ones wouldnt have visible bones :| Suggested edits: "*focused* on its limbs to reduce" should be "focusing" "*exploding* the second it hit the ground in an *explosion* of destructive" repetitive. Eruption, detonation, blast, surge lots of choices. " now *visible* on guard" should be "visibly" "I ** find myself hesitant to even ask" missign word "also" since you used "I find myself..." earlier in the sentence. Adding also makes it seem more deliberate.

Spirit of man takes care of the stat issue, and bow powercharge durability is a far-away issue—if it ever even becomes one—with his new bow. There’s a lot less NEED to upgrade gear, even if would still be very helpful

Epends on the spider. I have a particular despisal of large web weavers, mostly from walking outside and 5 minutes later turning to walk inside only to have a spider decide the front door was a great place to start their web.

What a wild trip these Venusian’s are having with Jake. It’s like if we found a weird thing in the woods, it seem friendly and weaker than us. Had a nice tea party, went for a walk and then saw it nuke a grizzly bear with a back hand 😂

Jake is somewhere he might only be able to escape from by the system pulling him out. Would have been nice to have picked up some gear that with fancy tricks before the event... just in case. Very Jake of him.

Spiders can be neat but undead spiders with a silk and bone humanoid-ish upper body definitely need to be purged. Arachne sound cool though.

Idea for Jake's amulet upgrade... a semi escape skill allowing him to set a location that his amulet always gives him access to. He chooses his garden in nevermore. Unrelated thought... is there a rule known as something like... chekov's red herring?

After how this whole Venus thing started, this was the chapter I needed. We know at some point there’s gonna be a major issue and likely the system event saves Jake’s butt, still a few chapters establishing he’s still a bad ass feels good. Although I would love if he can be full diplomat and open this place up to the wider, Multiverse and make Miranda proud😂

I just had a thought and feel pretty dumb not realizing it sooner. Everyone we know got a pretty big upgrade in late C-grade: Silphy insight from the Vortex Pinnacle, Fallen King the Golden rework and Sword Saint a Transcendence upgrade. We can even add Dina who got lessons from Yggdrasil and Vesperia with her new Royal Guard. Add to this a System Event which allows all of them and quite a few never-before-seen geniuses from other galaxies to face against each other. We were denied in D-grade and got the Treasure Hunt instead, but could this be the setup of a Tournament arc?

82nd dumb idea of the day: fanatics try to create a church of the primal hunter. jake wants nothing to do with it. miranda refuses to help because she knows the trouble it will cause. they instead create the primal church. primordial church accuses them of heresy and attacks. Carmen, who hates the primordial fanatics since her time as valdemar's chosen, rallies some of valhall to the side of the primal church. primordial church quickly concedes that since the primals were all chosen of primordials, they are OK with the primal church.

While i like the setting, story and characters... the moronically exaggerated sense of scale throws me out of the moment... every time... Back against the boglord the frogs teleported "a couple thousand kilometers" to avoid a one directional blast... as in standing in the middle of Spain, to avoid a straight blast, they dodged all the way to Florida.... instead of yknow, go 100m around the boglord? Same here in this chapter, shooting an arrow at a doubledecker bus sized enemy, Jake cracked the ground the size of a small city...
