I think I might have some insight into the double Eric Roberts twist. There's a series of lifetime movies starring Eric Roberts called "Stalked by my Doctor" that eventually feature Roberts (as the stalker doctor, of course) seeing hallucinations of a second, more goofy and evil Eric Roberts who argues with him and says it's ok to be evil and stalk young women. This whole bit is very entertaining in these movies and I suspect that they wrote the second Eric Roberts into Woke because they were just trying to get him to do something like this again.

Harris has gotten as far as she has based on one thing*: money. The big big donors apparently like her for some reason. Democratic voters need to understand that money is basically the only factor to getting elected statewide in California. It's so expensive that you must have so much money - it's non-negotiable. She has no real appeal to actual voters and never had. * Actually two things - early in her career she was sleeping with Willie Brown who was one of the most powerful Democrats in CA (and 30 years older than her). For some reason, you are very sexist and bad to bring this up and it has largely been buried by some kind of liberal media omerta process. Who are you to question true love?

The dialogue you described about "my son is in law school and is going to take over my practice when he graduates" is probably the single most direct ripoff of GET OUT because that's what Bradley Whitford's character says vis-a-vis his son being in medical school.

With the advent of technology and the use of virtual avatars that can portray aging musicians in their prime for musical concerts, do you think attending these types of music events lessen the meaningful experience the attendee has with musical concerts? I recently became aware ABBA Voyage Concert, where the Europop/Disco band ABBA from the 1970s did this for concert for a few years starting in 2022. Paraphrasing what I found from Wikipedia, but basically ABBA used technology to perform a live concert that made the band members appear in the 1970s (they are now all in their 70s or 80s).

Hey, don't knock the SEO technique of giving films titles – in this case it works! Also, be wary of dismissing Kamala Harris' chances of running again. If I may pretend to be Nate Silver for a moment, it's rather astonishing to discover that at this stage of a Democrats' nominating cycle, the eventual nominee (and the runner-up) is ALREADY first or second in the polling. Harris was second, last time I looked, and first choice amongst the largest constituent part of the Democrats' coalition, African-American voters. Of course, she has to get from here to roughly summer 2027 still at the top, which given her record of success is by no means a certainty. The whole opening discussion of Kamala and Kimmel made me wonder once again why I bother paying attention to politics any more. It's so dispiriting to know that the Sanders'/Corbyn/Layton era was my Indian summer of hope. For me, that eternal winter is coming, and maybe I should enjoy myself watching great films like WOKE as the days draw in instead.
