I'm usually caught off guard by plot twists, but this is a theory I've had ever since I noticed [redacted] kept acting above and beyond [their] station for [character], so when we hear them praying, I thought, "Okay, here it comes, maybe?" It's sorta nice to be right once every thirty years! =D

LOVE this reveal! I knew who Maggie was but I couldn’t remember how or when it was revealed but ugh 🥹 love And I’m pretty sure in the beginning of the season recap we the scene with Matts dad on the phone before his last match telling whoever it was that “he’s going to need you.” And then Matt went to the orphanage where Maggie was He was raised by his mum for all those years and never knew 😭 And it’s beautifully set up tbh, of course she’s such a great counter to him, because he got HIS attitude from HER 😂

When I first saw this six years ago, I knew Fisk was gonna find out about what happened to Wesley sooner or later. I just didn’t think it was gonna be Karen telling him in person. Then there was that big reveal that Sister Maggie was Matt’s mom. A handful of us knew that from the comics right after Defenders originally aired, but we didn’t think they were gonna bring that to the show and it was still surprising.

just wanted to say im loving your reactions to the reveals in this season, your reactions are always great but reveals like this episode's (maggie) and the fisk framing matt a couple of episodes ago, that had me cackling, exactly the sort of reactions i hoped for, im re-watching the season before i get into born again so i decided to watch your reactions too and im SO glad i did haha
