Another one of my all time favorite episodes. After all the Cordelia hate, which was valid, I had always hoped that Ashleigh would get to see this episode. There is so much to love here, so many subtle callbacks to previous episodes in both shows. In my opinion, this is when Cordelia reaches her prime version, and having Ashleigh acknowledge the exceptional character development, is just. . .damn satisfying lol.

BURTON! I'm so proud of you! It takes a person of strong character to openly admit they were wrong. But many of us want to thank you for trusting us to introduce you to the Whedonverse, and sticking with it even when you disliked many of the characters in the beginning. I too did the walk of shame. I hated Angel in buffy and begrudgingly started it, years after it had ended on TV. It ended up being an amazing show with amazing characters. Dare I say...I like it more that Buffy 🫣😄
