Dear Patreon Boys,

Thank you for your patience over the last couple of weeks while there is not much going in on MMA to talk about. I am working on a couple of things for sites and magazines now, but I wanted to share part of an independent project with you to show my gratitude and to hopefully get some feedback.

PLEASE keep this one to yourselves as this is part of a much larger project which I intend to release publicly all at once, rather than trickling out.

Cheers,

Jack

The Primer - Floyd Mayweather Jr.

excellent!

Chris Rini

Great music choice. What is this opening track?

Brian MacDonald

Yeah, love the music as well. It's hard to imagine Floyd's been able to control his fights so completely, yet seeing it broken down makes a great deal of sense. Not just head movement and pivoting the adjustments for every opponent is striking. Thanks as always.

Magical Drinking

Great stuff, I really like the idea of a series of primer videos that outline the nuts and bolts of what makes great fighters great!

Thomas la Cour

Awesome Jack, glad you let us get a look at it like this. :)

Hamish the Denizen

Tremendous. Work like this really adds to my enjoyment of watching combat sports - understanding the tactics that each fighter is using or trying to establish gives me a different appreciation.

Andrew Park

Absolutely Brilliant

thanks Jack, just picked through the public version, hoping for a secret version with the footage restored on here

Just read the article on Primer and wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the format. I don't know if it was a one-off, but I would definitely love to see more articles in that form: a combination of text, gifs and videos. Great work, Jack!
