So mixing this angle mode tip with the new wobble script is the way to go now on 4.5, correct?

The PIDtoolbox Guy

I think so. I’m always looking for the simplest path forward that involves as few settings as possible. But what I was hoping to achieve with this vid on angle mode is to show how it works in general and let people decide how they wanna set it. Some might opt to try and make angle mode feel like pre-BF45, in which case you’d turn off angle FF and set linear rates with similar angle limit. I hope it just makes people experiment a bit.

I'm actually liking how 4.5 flies with the default angle settings. Can I use it stock (with feed-forward and non-linear rates) to run the wobble test and analyze the results in the step response tool? If so, what are the disadvantages or limitations compared to what’s shown here?

The PIDtoolbox Guy

No issues at all. Just keep in mind your acro rates affect angle mode sensitivity, so if you decide to change those from default to your liking, then angle sensitivity will change as well

What you think about chirp "mode" in new betaflight?
