i always thought that when maddie says “this boy crush on eddie” was very interesting - do you think the writers just wrote it without thinking or do you see an actual meaning behind those choice of words?

buck was a huge help to eddie in this episode from coming with him to the hospital, speaking to bobby ahead of time about christopher needing to come to the fire house and bringing carla in to help eddie with looking after christopher - how do you think this is all going to help strengthen their bond/friendship and eddie finally feeling like there is someone here in LA who has his back?

Obviously, Maddie came in to fill Abby's role in dispatch, but what do you think of the parallels the show is drawing between Abby and Eddie? They are both partners in a sense to Buck, dealing with the care of a loved one by themselves, and now Eddie has adopted Abby's supporting cast - both Buck and Carla. For that matter, we saw in S1 Buck struggling to "get into the mess" with Abby and had to be coaxed into it by Bobby, so why do you think he's so easily taking on that role for Eddie and Chris? Is there also significance to the fact that in 1x10, Buck told Abby "I got your back, you know that," and she said "Really?" versus Eddie saying, "You can have my back any day," to Buck in 2x1 and Buck saying "Or you could have mine."

What Athena did to that convenience store owner was wrong he raised the to much but to threaten him to the point where he will be out of inventory days or weeks after. If I’m that guy I would bring a suit against her and the lapd cuz she broke the law he can raise the price up 10% it allows everybody to get something. After everybody texts people everything is half off he will be out of inventory until he could get new stuff in and what money is he supposed to buy it with. There will be inflation at that store just so the guy doesn’t lose his store. This is the only time I hated what Athena has done as a cop cuz she knows the law and her doing that is wrong.
