I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Carla is Chris's carer as of the end of the episode. Also, gonna wait to say more until I see your Question Time post, but I do think you've done a good job of understanding these characters' hearts well given how little time you've known them. I think you can also see now why we were all waiting for you to get to S2 and to meet these members of the family we love so dearly.

i've said it before and i'll say it again - i do enjoy s1 more than most fans even if it would be near the bottom of my season rankings (i usually skip it on rewatches) mostly bc it doesn't feel like the 9-1-1 i know and love now largely due to the absence of maddie and eddie. this is when the 118 begin to feel like a proper found family to me too.

OK, given the subject did come up in Question Time - I do feel like it would help this comment section be a little freer if we all just acknowledged the elephant in the room. There's a lot of Buddie (Buck & Eddie) shippers in the house, so we probably will keep continuing to mention every Buddie moment and asking Buddie questions in Question Time.

Also, since you asked, Chimney's not an only child. Abby's actress only signed up for one season - and they knew she wasn't planning on staying long-term. But she's a well-known name so they still wanted to highlight her in S1.

For me, Christopher truly is the best character on this show…followed closely by Eddie lol. I absolutely love how the 118 is such a family. Also Buck & Eddie becoming basically besties in that short amount of time is cute - love their bond!
