Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

911 is still coming, but is going to be LATE, so many apologies on that. IWTV recordings are always HUGE in comparison to others, but it is my mission to still get 911 out this evening 😤 gonna do a shuffle next week to have IWTV be our first show of the week so I can do it solo

There’s a lot of differing opinions about whether Lestat killed Paul or not. And like you said, there was nothing inhuman about the way Paul died: he was mentally ill and clearly dependent on his family so his sister getting married and leaving might’ve been a big enough trigger point to push him over the edge. It’s just that the timing of his death felt so…convenient? With Grace getting married and Paul gone and his mother essentially disowning him it was the perfect storm for Lestat to work his way into Louis’s life. I don’t think it’s an answer we’ll ever get in the show but it IS interesting to speculate about. Edited to add: on the other hand, Lestat was very overt about being the one who murdered the sex worker that Louis was dependent on. And in all the years Louis clung onto Grace, Lestat never sabotaged that relationship in an effort to bring Louis closer. So who knows?

I get what you’re saying about Lestat – recognising that a character isn’t necessarily morally good doesn’t mean they can’t be enjoyable on screen. Lestat is probably my second favourite to watch after Louis. It’s the same with HOTD, aegon is my favourite character and he’s kind of a terrible human being 😂

Elizabeth Gates

The show has confirmed that Lestat didn't kill Paul (In fact, Sam has talked about how Louis asking this question was Lestat's proof that Louis never loved him - because Louis wouldn't have loved someone he thought killed his brother). Anne Rice (when she was alive) also confirmed Lestat didn't kill Paul.

ah okay that makes sense! I actually would’ve preferred if it was kept ambiguous but it’s good to know Lestat never did that to Louis

ahhhh i was wondering where 911 was! super excited to see your reaction to the next ep, hopefully it’s tonight but if not it’ll be great to see tomorrow!

i love season 1 of this show, but i LOOOOOVE season 2. it’s genuinely one of the best pieces of television i’ve ever watched. i am so excited to see you watch the next season

Elizabeth Gates

I'm trying not to be impatient for him to get to 2x5 because the whole season is so good and worth savoring, but it's a bit hard.

I don’t think the bond between Louis and Lestat is magical only because the only thing that links them is Lestat turning him, and Lestat turned Claudia but they don’t feel any attachment to each other.

dw Harry, you don't have to forgive Lestat. Even irl I've learned that you can understand people and appreciate all their complexities without forgiving them for certain things. Yes, forgiveness can often be healing but sometimes NOT forgiving is the sanest choice a person can make in choosing to love themselves FIRST. So, especially in a tv show, we can of course enjoy a character and not stand for their acts at the same time

Kitty Underwood

Claudia does include him when saying life has no meaning without them, but then also comes back and just asks Louis to leave with her
