So, you met Shannon this episode. One of the big points of conversation between her and Eddie was Shannon saying, "I needed someone to have my back," to which Eddie replied, "I always had your back." And she answered, "No. You were in Afghanistan." Previously, I'd asked a question about Buck and Abby, referencing their convo in 1x10: Buck: "I got your back, you know that." Abby: "Really?" And Buck and Eddie's conversation from 2x1: Eddie: "You can have my back any day." Buck: "Yeah... Or you could have mine." From a writing standpoint, why do you think the writers keep on returning to this paralleled language?

Buck's and Abby's relationship "officially" ended this episode. While we'll see how its aftermath affects Buck moving forward, do you think that the experience was a net positive or a net negative for his life? Buck tends to attribute a lot of personal growth to Abby, but how much of that was her doing and how much of that was his, separate from her?

911 often uses episode titles in multiple different ways throughout the episodes (you touched on this in 2x04 "stuck"). what do you think of the usage of "haunted" referring to hen's dad, eddie's wife, buck and abby, and the hiker? (also, side note: how cute was eddie and chris in this ep with the halloween costumes lol)

We got to know a lot more about Eddies past with Christopher’s mom, Shannon, in this episode. What are your thoughts on what happened between them in the past, and where they left things off in this episode?

just reiterating the question i posted on the post for last episode (sorry i didn’t post it here originally, honestly i just didn’t think about it lol) but i wanted to bring up a discussion about maybe bumping 911 to two episodes a week or something along those lines? with the number of episodes already out you’d be looking at a 2+ year catch up just to get where we are now. again if that’s what ends up happening i am so down to be here for that time, but selfishly i want to see you watch more of this show lol i know you said maybe two eps with limited question time, or i saw someone else suggest adding a second ep of 911 to your next tv show poll, both of which i think would be good ideas, but it’s fully up to you! thank you for the reactions!! <33

Just to let you know - We just got renewed for Season 9! I know you can get kind of intimidated by long shows, but S8 has a very special place in my heart and I'm sure S9 will too. Can't wait for the day you get to experience them for the first time!

No pressure but are you going to watch 911 lone star.
