loved your reaction for this ep! i am also not a huge fan of taylor, so i was glad to see you echo some of the same sentiments i have towards her! i did have a question for your future reactions for this show — is there any chance of you bumping 911 to maybe an additional episode a week, or something along those lines? i know generally that’s not how your reactions work, but i ask because this is such a long show already (this week’s ep was the 118th episode!) meaning an episode a week would take you 2+ years just to get to where we are right now. if that’s the plan believe me i will be here for those 2+ years lol, i was just curious if you had any thoughts about that! super excited to see the rest of this season, especially the “begins” episodes!!

I think you might have interpreted Eddie coming over when Buck and Taylor were talking as Eddie also trying to flirt with Taylor? You mentioned jealousy. But most of the fandom interprets that as Eddie very much NOT liking Taylor and wanting to interrupt that conversation.

that ending scene always makes me teary too! the song choice is perfect and michael and the kids being so accepting of bobby and making him a part of their family is the most precious thing. these characters all have such big hearts it’s impossible to not love them. ugh except taylor kelly of course! it was so nice to see you voicing all of my thoughts. she’s the worst and has zero ethics and shouldn’t even be a reporter. wanting to tell someone’s story that you know doesn’t want to be told is so gross. also filming and wanting to air his potential suicide attempt? the fact that buck could ever like her is mind boggling to me.

The lady running the bug eating contest was one of the stars of LA Law that was a fantastic show from the 80s. It could have crazy incidents like this show but also some of the best dramatic television.

i was lowkey thinking abt asking this at some point soon too, lol, bc like you said, it's gonna take 2 years to catch up to where we are now. i think it def is worth harry maybe looking into doing things a bit differently for long shows in general, particularly long shows that are currently still airing - but yeah, i would maybe ask this in question time.

Just wanted to give you a heads up for the next episode, as I remember a previous reaction I saw from you (can't remember if this show) you said the only thing you want to know about in advance is animal deaths. There's one in the next episode that devastated me. It's done respectfully but yeah, fair warning, look after yourself.

One option might be when there's a new show opening, put 9-1-1 on the poll for a second slot? Or maybe we could warn you about multi-part emergencies and those episodes could be combined with limited questions. For instance, most seasons have an intro episode followed by a two-part major emergency, like the earthquake arc.

The more I rewatch this show the more I grow to dislike Taylor. I don't think it's very out of character for a journalist tbh. As we've seen in the past several years, there is a VERY limited amount of journalists who actually have ethics. I also did not like the cameraman being like "get a room" when Taylor was just being horrid and it clearly ISN'T a UST moment where they're pretending to be all mad at each other but they're just so into each other. It's just forced at this point. I am so glad that while Bobby will forever carry what happened to his family, he still has a chance at being happy with being included in Athena's family. I love that all of them accepted him so wholeheartedly. The team high on drugs...I know it's bad but I kinda want more. They were all so funny 🤣🤣🤣 (except Bobby. That was just pure trauma).
